Their about exploring, not just doing. Maby you overlooked something big and these quest will make you stumble on them. This isnt fable. This is a HUGE its going to take you hours to sprint in game from one corner of the map to another, if a quest helps me check off a couple of nice locations i think it will be fine. besides you get money which is actually important in early/mid game unlike other games that have quests like this where bye the end of the game you own one of everything and y...
Go kill exploration quests? I hardly find that as a downer, particularly if you get paid. I think the idea is to give you a reason to explore like the article said, maby you missed a dungeon in the middle of nowhere, Whats that this random quest will send me to that area? Quest + loot = win.
You dont need it to play, you just need it the first time you play to 'activate' it. And if its like ME2 and persistent you can just turn off the EA login.
Lol, origin is such a terrible service, if the make people use it their going to stop buying EA games.
Well its not that terrible
(even though the overlay can make games crash *battlefield*)
I hope theres quarians. I dont think i would play multiplayer if there werent.
XD ile just paly this in bed on my laptop, the reccomended requirements are so low its amusing.
I bet a bunch of Console gamers are going to come here to trash talk PC gamers and a bunch of pc gamers are going to come here to trash talk console gamers.
Nailed it.
Its a HUGE apin in the ass, Steam, its one click you get the entire shibang. Origin on the other hand Takes much longer to load and after you decide you want to play the game it takes freaking 5 minutes to boot through the browser (slight exaguration). I mean, how would you like it if when you go to play uncharted 3 that you have to open up the ps3 web browser and select one game mode that takes forever to load, then you have to quit and wait another century for the other game mode. Not to...
Im going to say skyrim, Sure the other two are probably good for the 50 or so hours you can squeez out of their carcass but skyrim will last years. In fact Oblivion PC is still very much alive in the pc community.
But its completely opinion, Ones a full fledged RPG ones a full fledged FPS and ones a full fledged interactive movie.
Hmm, Troll article is trolling.
Hey look at me, im a random person that comes to threads i dont like bye my free will to complain about people comparing things!
Cmon guys, i would like to read through peoples opinions without hearing "why do they do this?"
I agree, I have seen better games but its very impressive how optimized it is, to me this looks about on par with crysis 2 (give or take) but i get about 50-100% better performance on comparable settings.
And you just gotta love the epic gameplay, i was having COD 4 flash backs before i realized that this wipes the floor with it.
Yea, its hard to beat the witcher 2, But this game is so much more optimized. The single player was pretty much a linear crysis 2 graphically but The multiplayer is uncomparable. the witcher 2 might have nice graphics but The LOD and level of detail over the massive maps wipes the floor with pretty much everything with maby the acception of crysis wars.
I was just thinking the other day about my graphics nit picking and how textures and polycounts never live up to my expectations. Then I realized that the only game that ever met these expectations was crysis with its rediculous textures.
This is probably in the top 5 graphically intense games out there, without a doubt. and it is pretty flawless when your not staring at a wall with a scope.
I almost max this out on my OC 555m (AAoff, SSAO and shadows on medium). This game is so baller.
Ile at least say it has good custscenes (see gallary) but the gameplay is just like 90% of AAA games. Dont you just love the wonders of multiple models of a character for different situations?
You do realise that all of these are cutscene pics right? IE: not gameplay
I too an a fan of using 'HD' models for my cutscenes. I know a bunch of people are going to jump on me for this but these arent the gameplay models, just like uncharted 2 naughtty dog uses 3-4x the quality models for cutscenes because they can. It looks fantastic, but people are running this off like every model in the game is going to look like this even in gameplay.
Their good cutscene screens but thats about it.
Their not making you do it and if the quest givers piss you off or nag you about it you can always kill them :)
