So I am not allowed to be critical of a statement of an individual that I deem to be utterly foolish because he is the president of Epic games? So that makes what these guys say infallible and written in stone?
Are you new here, because we've been making fun of a guy by the name of Bobby Kotick for awhile now, and last I heard Activision>Epic financially. But going by your logic, Kotick is above and beyond criticism.
And I'm 25.
A little something called Steam and and a certain company by the name of Blizzard makes this guy sound like a fool. Keep your crappy Gears of war, I'll be playing StarCraft 2 and Diablo 3 instead, and raking in all the great deals offered every week on Steam, which you can not get on consoles.
The only reason sales were strong was because long time fans were expecting something great from the next installment of Final Fantasy on a "next-gen" console, and despite the bad press, went ahead and bought the game (ie. me.)
Fifty grueling gameplay hours later, I am for the first time regretting a Final Fantasy purchase.
Please for the love of the gaming world, do not continue supporting this crap. Soon we're going to be paying $70 for a 2 hour game and we'll have to pay $15 increments to get the entire experience.
In the end the rich will get richer and the gamers will get alot poorer.
FFXIII was the lamest experience I've had this gen. There's only so much walking in a straight line and going into battle after battle that I can take.
I put over 200 hours into ME2 and 50 hours into FFXIII, before I got to the last chapter and gave up, too boring and repetitive.
I hope ME2 gets it, the only title since OoT that made me replay a game 4 times. Amazing game.

This game is a 7 to 7.5 imo. Well I didn't even finish it, got to the last chapter and felt no drive to finish the game, a first for me in an RPG, says something about the game I think
The crown for JRPG goodness now lies with Atlus and the Persona series. FFXIII was balls.
FFXIII does not belong in that list. If you want a real RPG, play Mass Effect 2, possibly the best game this gen along with Uncharted 2.
Whenever I need something to put me to sleep, I play this game. True story. It's just so boring that you can't help but start falling asleep on yourself.
I have the feeling of doing to this guy, what Kratos did to Poseidon at the end of their battle.

Just get it on Steam.

And the more time that passes the less interested I become in the game.
and it's true, there are many things left unfinished in the movie. You can see strings attached for stunts and even CGI effects are apparent. In short, stay away from this.
