This game is my GotY by far. Best game I've played this gen. It's simple amazing.
The amount of oh sh!t moments in this game is off the wall.
*walks into boss room and sees flamelurker break through the wall holding him and jump down to greet me*
Me: "oh sh!t, I'm dead"
(1 min later)
Me: *Dead*
That dude playing creeps me the eff out.

..but it was more hardcore than it is now. The game now spoonfeeds you everything and there is zero challenge. WoW was fun when it came out... now it's garbage imo. Author needs to shut his mouth honestly.

If you want a FPS with good AI then play Killzone 2, or as the bots call it "flopzone 2". I didn't know selling 2 million makes a game a flop. I guess most 360 exclusives are flops too then.

Seriously though... KH2? Personally I thought KH2 was horrible compared to the original. Gameplay wise I'd say they were about equal, but man playing KH2 felt like I was playing KH1 but with a way way worse story.
I think the only games in Tarrec's list that I can agree being in the top 10 are MGS1 and SotC.
Yeah they definitely need FF7 up there, but I'd put MGS in over MGS4 personally.
Yeah, same story here pretty much. I grew up playing online computer FPS like Rogue Spear and Counter Strike, plus N64 FPS games like goldeneye and Perfect Dark. To me Halo wasn't anything spectacular... it was good but I didn't see the "Omg best game ever" hype surrounding it.
