I think it's funny that matchmaking in halo 3 is considered to be one of the best things about it, and yet the new firefight mode doesn't even have matchmaking. Seriously?
People put hundreds of hours into this game, but one single play through..hmmm I forget how long my first playthru was but I wanna say at LEAST 30 hours. I'm sure it's possible to rush through the game a good amount faster than that.

Totally agree poeo. I was losing my spark for single player gaming after the amazing Shadow of the Colossus. Not many games could stand up to an amazing experience like SotC.
Demon's souls on the other hand.. totally sparked my love for single player experiences again. Simply amazing game.

You really have to consider the amount of things going on in the game/animations/backround etc. rather than just looking at how good the game looks graphically. UC2 look amazing graphically, but it also had a TON of things going on that can really pull a lot of juice outta a system. ND prolly has an amazing PS3 engine to work with and I believe that they maxed out what it could achieve.

I'm sure they're releasing VC2 on the PSP because RPGs tend to do MUCH better on the portable systems rather than the home consoles.

Looking at this game I can believe that they maxed the hardware, but I also believe that there are always tweaks and optimizations you can do to an engine to squeeze out more power.

Oh man I totally agree! Demon's souls has some of the MOST epic bosses EVER! That game really knows how to kick your ass and make you crap your pants.
