For me, I like the 360 triggers and ps3 sticks for fps, but I have fps freek and pelican triggers on my ps3, so I have best of both worlds. :)

Yes, but this year has been bad for all of Nintendo's consoles: the Wii, 3DS, and the WiiU, which isn't even out yet. I'm not sure if they can be where they were with the NES, SNES, and 64, at least not until after the WiiU, then maybe they can turn themselves around with the next console. Hopefully at least.

The PSPs were just a small upgrade to replace the one before it for the same price (except the Go). The DSs were all different models that changed the price and sold alongside each other with different features.
People just need to know when to quit. A trilogy is a good place to stop. Sony knows this. Microsoft and nintendo... Not so much. Even the best games shouldn't do this. Yeah, it would be nice if it was like that. You buy a game on pen and have it for all your devices, if available. Pretty much like the iPhone and iPad. They do that on a lot of things. I would love to see that with save games in the cloud able to update on all devices.

I love the ds3, I just wish the handles were bigger and more ergonomic. But, I have the snap on triggers and FPS Freek on the right stick (don't really like it on the left one) and I just hate aiming with the 360 sticks, they just seem to have a less range of motion. Actually I will probably start getting games on vita instead, simply because it's portable and is ps3 quality anyway.
I will say that MW3 will most likely sell a lot more than BF3, but yeah, that doesn't make it better. I will be getting both, but with COD I already know what to expect, and BF3 is gonna be awesome. Will definitely be on BF3 a lot, but because of college, sadly, I probably won't get much time with it. I haven't plugged the ps3 back in once since I started college... Sad, I know.
Windows 8 looks absolutely awesome for tablets. It looks like a mixture of windows 7 and windows phone 7. Hopefully windows 8 is a sign of what will come to windows phone 8.
