dead space 2, mass effect 2, starcraft 2, diablo 3, crysis 2, just to name a couple of games that i am insanely excited about, and having played the first in those series i know that i'm in for the best games in years

it actually sold pretty well in the end, i don't remember specific figures but i think it was like 200,000 sales....that was probably including impulse and steam downloads etc

omfg i hope there is a command and conquer 4,c&c3 and kane's wrath,stayed true o the original feel of the game,when playing c&c3 it felt like the first c&c did 15 years ago,and that's a good thing,and red alert 3 was crap....but i still bought it cos i'm an idiot.
for me, the first dead space was the only flawless pc game i've ever bought....no need for a patch...no glitches, no bugs, no ctd, and i can't wait for dead space 2, it's above crysis 2 on my list, dead space extraction makes me wish i hadn;t traded in my wii...that and pokemon revolution *blushes*

too true, and the drm on games concerns me as well for the same reason, once a game becomes dated, when you put in the disk to play a game you bought and therefore should be able to play, what happens when the server for activation etc doesn't exist?, i own all my cd's so when i go in the car i can take it with me, i don't have a copy protected i tunes song i can't make a backup of, so when my ipod dies i have to buy it again etc
if it is i will have no part in it, i LOATHE digital distribution, i buy all may games and cds retail and always will, if a game is digital only then i won't buy it

the summons in ffXII were awesome, to bad they were completely useless, but the ideas behing them were really cool, the lore behind them, being guardians of the ancient world etc, and different elemnts, for me no summon can ever be cooler than Anima....but we'll see
