It's nice to see a hardcore game like Smash and a casual game like Wii fit sell well, both are passed the 1 million mark and haven't been released outside Japan yet.
PS3 has improved from last year, hopefully Sony can figure it all out this year. They have to take a different strategy in Japan maybe relea...
The first console I bought this generation is the Wii... My favorite console this generation is the Wii but I also love my PS3... I would love to have a 360 but can't right now...

Will nintendo make us pay to remove a feature like friend codes... On the one hand its a feature I want to see scrapped, set on fire and have it's ashes launched into space. But even that is still not enough for me to want to pay to play...
Once someone buys a game, they should have free access to that game, and if that game includes multiplayer, that aspect of the game should be free as well...
I have to say that I am disappointed to hear this. The whole pay to play idea is the only reason I got a PS3 instead of a 360 (well it was a little more than that but still...). This is an odd move indeed... I don't think it's fair for gamers who already spend their hard earned cash on the rising cost of games, to pay for additional features.

Ok... I have very low expectations for the movie... I mean seriously low. But the game looks pretty good. If it turns out to be a good game I'll actually get so that I'd have another racing game besides Mario Kart.
B4 people said the same thing about Ratchet and Clank and Devil May Cry but look what happened. Neither of those games moved consoles.
I think the Japanese taste in games has changed... Final fantasy might sell a crap load, but I'm not sure metal gear solid will move that many consoles.

Who pays attention to gameplayer anyway... Dreamintruder 08 and MK_Red you guys are both right... I haven't played the game but I know the intention of the game wasn't to kill things or have sex with the spa manager or the fish or whatever else this dumb reviewer wanted to do...
That some people are taking notice of this game... it is a really good game that any Wii owners craving mature themed games should play. There is just so much style and creativity in the game... lets hope that Suda does come out with a sequel like he wants to. I just hoppe that they work on the sandbox part of the game...
I didn't realize how seriously people took this console war... almost 400 comments so far... I have to admit though this is shocking news... I wonder if this is the beginning of strong momentum for Sony... did anyone notice that the Wii version of guitar hero was higher than other platforms... and the Super mario galaxy software decline is a suprise too (and a shame in my opinion...). COD4 is an amazing game, and I'm glad it is being recognized as such.
I think the technical hurdle isn't related to graphics, I think its related to control. With the Wii, Spore developers can mimic PC controls or make it better (if we are to believe previous statements from Mr Wright). With the PS3 and 360 it would be more difficult to port the controls, or come up with a control scheme that would work.
* Please keep in mind I didn't say that it would be impossible to come up with a control scheme for the HD systems.
Whatever the game is, it will be great.
