Isn't the Scorpio releasing holiday 2017? Is Phil saying that the games line up and price point are so outstanding that the other 9 or 10 months of the year will be completely obliterated? I think Joel is already dead. Possibly in the interim between the first and second part. But more probably at the beginning to mid point in the second game. Sony didn't overhyped anything. Sean Murray and hello games are the only people responsible for the information given prior to its release. I feel like the time frame with which bc for Xbox360 games and psnow for pc were released is pretty much in line with both companies putting their direct constituents (console players/buyers) first followed by extending to other markets. Neither is "evil" in respect to those features. One does have a long track record of trying to buy out or destroy their competitors though. Read up on how Windows was created and marketed and why.

I think you can basically find tutorials for everything now a days. But if you open up the xbox one, I believe (not 100% sure), it voids the written/implied warranty of the system according to microsoft. Whereas with Sony, one is meant to be able to swap out the hdd.
