Well i don't agree with his harsh reasoning but for somebody who has been at the forefront of gaming revolution he should have a more open mind. Things have changed since the old pong days, things evolve. Same thing with movies these days, ''people in high places'' don't like digital filmaking..but you can't deny its the future.
I also think he is judging the wrong kinda games, the games he is talking about appeal to a less wider audience (like kids,elderly) but have key demog...
So Bioshock wasn't good? You always draw those sales card. YOu know that games sell because of the publicity they get right? These so called ''crap'' games you call, not everybody has your opinion. Atleast there promoting these games that nobody prolly would have touched (except the hardcore people). And how the hell do you know that its bad, did you play it? its about tast my friend, not the console.

Thats what i'm saying, people who have the xbox360 will be buying most of the multi-plat games. In europe its a pretty big diffrence, lets say you buy a console 400+70 euro for a game its a pretty big stump. But people who already have the x360 will go for the x360 version no matter what revieuws say. The ps3 has a strong exlcusive lineup..which will sell because of the base, multi will mosly sell on other consoles.
its funny about this blog post its pretty sour about games. I think he forgot that COD4 beta was exlcusive to the xbox360, which has a lot of people impressed. Also you can't deny the x360 has a larger install base, which means the percentage of people buying it will be higher (we will see how it plays out). The sony ps3 prediction is pretty strong, but like he said the upcoming games are not something to overly brag about. But its to much on the selling of the ps3 because of the lower price....

Sega has some ps3 exlcusive games if i remember. Most of them are pretty jap games...so its better to put them on the ps3 to atleast recoup the losses i guess.
I have a question for who bought the play magezine, does it go indept on which console? It seems odd that this might be a type but you gotta look at the layout if something else could have been put there (like a blank part).

There seems to be a big ''biased'' outcry but the fact is that it should not matter to the avarage gamer.Just buy the game and play it, don't critiq other people for not liking it. People liked Lair, Heavenly Sword but they keep pointing fingers @ why the public ignores it.My opinion is that the game is pretty hardcore based, you ether like it or you hate it.
This might sound odd but COD4 and Killzone 2 arn't realy comparible because of style.
I find Killzone 2 going for that over the top gritty metalic image, where everything has to look uber cool (which it does :P). The Design of the game is also very cinematic, they feeling your playing a movie.

you know this is not true. Go to the epic forums, they talk about maby a delay of the ps3 but they also say that the ps3 timed exlcusive will be released ahead of the other version (the pc and ps3 version are released the same time..).
even with the alpha build they showed it looked awsome, this is going to rock.

The wii tapped to something other consoles could not get in too, a larger demografic. Games have changed a lot since the old days, people miss those ''pick up and play'' games. While every generation there has always been about upgrading the grafics, the wii kinda goes the easy way out.
Also the games out are very simple kinda games witch you can play with anyone. Thats the smart thing about it, anyone can do it. This means grannies,granpas,uncles ect can play along.
