The biggest problem with these movies are is that they don't keep to the core story. They change to much of the idea, with director going wild. keep the orginal structure, make sure the hardcore is satisfied. There is too much tinkering to make it great for everyone, and that is just bad logic. People like W.S. Anderson stray to much of the plot, fans want the orginal stuff...if pr exec. did it this way they would attract way more people.

We can say that about any game that hasn't been annouced what platform it is going. Or we can say that about any game that has a specific platform.
I think with Remedy on board you can atleast bank on a good story. I love d the max payne stories awsome. Does anybody get the feeling its ''The Shining'' in video game form?
I have to admit i agree about the hidden feeling comment. There was something about the first gow grip, it directly pulled you in. Gow2 i think kinda was less about grip, but more on expanding the story arc. From reading corry's comments, he planned it very well...to bad we can't see it more though :(
Maby pull a Ninja Gaiden 2 card? Also the head of the game studio talked about this in his keynote after GDC, there still talking so.
Jaffe's direction was awsome too, but in the later levels i felt that it lacked a little. It was less of ''awsome'' but more of anoying. Still great direction till now in the gow series, i hope the thrid one is a monster.

2008 will be the year PS3 will get mayor sequals. Stuff that people are waiting for, although i should note some stuff will eventually be delayed. But the xbox360 will be something of a underdog because of uproven ip's. But it isn't a bad thing though, 2007 they shined with bioshock and mass effect.
