I think you are confusing "competition" with immaturity. Being competitive playing games would be the same as being competitive with your football team as the goal is to be the winner. Buying a product should be related to what suits you, not taunting/bashing other with your choice. Also, in competition there is this thing called sportsmanship, which certainly doesn't exist in these articles regardless.

These articles about sales are truly just sad. They are always filled with fanboys arguing about sales data (which is almost always incomplete or wrong) to prove why their choice is better.
What is good about this news? BOTH consoles are selling superbly and have bright futures. That is what we gamers should care about. Not flaunting sales as some great selling point of your opinion.

Didn't claim they did ... as clearly they didn't. I was just pointing out specifically the ps+ version is most likely never happening. They said it was the "full game" not me, obviously it has fewer cars and tracks anyone coming to this article should know that. At the very least they should realize obviously the PS+ version is less than the fully paid version in some way.

The PSvita FTC lawsuit is one thing. (Ipersonally think it was bologne) That said, PS4 was showcased with PS+ "full game" version of driveclub. Now after a 1 year delay, the paid version was broken and the PS+ version is most likely cancelled all together. I am actually kinda upset with the continual lies coming from sony and their studios. PR speak is one thing, but straight lies are just unacceptable.
@steve well it was supposed to be free with PS plus. Full game just with more limited content, how is that different than a beta?
I say, games need to just have open beta's if they can't release a working game otherwise. Forza horizon 2 has much more going on than almost any game I can think of (drivatars, player meets, instant switch to MP, etc) and launched well. Halo MCC and driveclub blame it on "unseen things" but devs have been doing it right for years.

Evo - the games he mentioned in his tweet have the same microtransactions driveclub does. He even goes as far as to insult devs for the same thing their game contains. As well as claiming his game "ABSOLUTELY" will not contain them.

No doubt, major mess up. What should have been the biggest fan service in history has become somewhat of an insult to those same fans. Kinda sad to see, but definitely is yet another mound MS has made for itself with the xb1.
With that said, considering coop, campaign and custom games have been up since day one and matchmaking is just slow (but still works) since day 2, it is certainly a bit overblown, but as an owner of the game it certainly has lost my interest for the time...

Honestly, who cares? It looks pretty much identical. The fact that the dev has to be the one who states that is proof enough. Look at killzone, it was running at HALF of full hd and noone noticed. Apparently people only see it when it suits their argument though.

In just the last month titanfall was 25$, need for speed was 25$, thief 20$, d4 10$, 1/2 off on dlc for most games, etc, etc. Those are just the deals I took advantage of, there have been plenty more for pretty much every game I can think of.

At the very least fable, ori and screamride are all coming first half of the year, halo 5,tomb raider and quantum are coming second half. Seems pretty spread out IMO, but that doesn't even include whatever special things greenberg may be referring to. Not to mention all the 3rd party games. Really exciting year for gaming all around really.
