Could this in fact be the new name for The 7th Seal? It was a WIP title for the game when it was announced last year

Arf! Is good, enjoying it. Died a lot, though.
I'm confident (if confident is the right word to use) that while they won't care, they'll make it look like they care for the purposes of the ongoing propganda war - imperialist aggressors and all that. I guess I wouldn't have written the article otherwise! Will it get picked up by the mainstream western media? Not quite so confident on that score given the relatively low profile of the game.
Really? Blimey, hadn't heard that news. Will have to go and take a butchers around the web. Wonder if the resistance will still be called The Wolverines? What price a cameo from Bieber, eh ;)
It's true, a very poignant observation - there are indeed many crabs in videogames! More so than lobsters. I'm sure you've missed some though. I'm going to find out which ones (set up a facebook group about crabs in videogames many, many moons ago - this is the truth).
I loved Tierkreis so very happy to see that with a spot high up in your list. Reviewed it for NGamer magazine (UK) and then proceeded to play it... forever (well, 30 or so hours). Mostly in the bath, actually.
An excellent summary of the subject, amused me greatly. But I think you should tell us what you /really/ think...
Hurrah, there are other people who like the Poppies! Having had zero comments on either here or the site where I posted it I thought I was either the oldest man in videogames or that PWEI weren't as fondly remembered as I thought they would be.
Yeah, I reckon it'll be awesome too and you've got to have faith in Crytek to deliver, really. As tubers says, though, in a couple of weeks we'll know for sure!
Did anyone dig Clint Mansell's band Pop Will Eat Itself back in the 80s and 90s? Or am I just really old? Either way, I've put together a playlist of PWEI songs that Clint could use for the Mass Effect soundtrack:

I'm glad you enjoyed it, skwidd. And I'm not a particulary fan of Poe and certainly didn't intend to ape his style (quoth the raven/man not very good at games).
I think you're missing the point (as is the poster above). Did you actually read this? It's not suggesting you forget those other games full stop, or indeed that there aren't other classy shooters on the horizon, rather that the titles featured in the article are more important to the genre than the others for the reasons it outlines. And it's only an opinion - you are of course entitled to yours but there's no need to be quite so abusive. Thanks.
Not that KZ3 is, er, hyper-realistic. You know what I meant, right...
I didn't write this piece, just submitted it, but I agree with the sentiment of the article. It's not saying that the likes of Killzone 3 are poor games - far from it - just that in this current era of hyper-realistic, po-faced shooters, Duke Nuke and Bulletstorm offer something refreshing.
I don't believe it's trying to create 'forum wars'. More healthy debate, hopefully...

Agreed. It could do with a decent development time. I wouldn't mind waiting three years to be honest - Call of Duty is going to become like FIFA, just a slightly tweaked update of last year's game with a new 4 hour campaign.
I penned an article with a similar theme a while back having played the preview build of the game. It was with tongue placed firmly in cheek but it did suggest that the game was likely to cause a political storm when the North Korean regime got their hands on it due to the way the depicts the occupying force in the game.
I'm not sure if it's 'socially irresponsible' as such, perhaps because it wimps out of their being an narrative expansion of the Koreans - th...
