Bought a 360 at launch. Finally broke down and bought a PS3 8 months ago and I couldn't be happier. Both consoles are awesome but i'm so pumped for UC2 and GOW3...
...people should buy this game if it does come to PS3. In my opinion ME is the best exclusive for 360 and would fit nicely as a WRPG with all of the sweet new JRPG coming to PS3.
Does anyone know if they've implemented the "avatar clothing as achievement" policy yet? I'd never pay for these but winning them could be (mildly) cool.
I thought UC1 was one of the best games ever and I'm sure UC2 will be better. That's how I define success (quality). BUT some people define success by sales. Naughty Dog - and other developers not named SE, Sony 1st Party, etc. - should pick a sales number and say "If we beat 2.5M in global sales by the holidays, everyone gets free DLC". Whether its maps or new guns or behind the scenes vids, that would be cool and encourage WoM (word of mouth) advertising. Thoughts?

Review Scores are opinions by different people. 95% of PS3 owners on this board are buying Uncharted 2 no matter what (I know I am, regardless of what any website/mag says). A good way to escape the frustrations of these smaller sites is to average review scores from IGN, 1UP, Gamespot, and Gameinformer instead of using Metacritic.
I'm not saying they are BAD. Uncharted 1 had excellent character models and excellent locations. Uncharted 2 has excellent character models and INSANE locations/backgrounds.
The character models have seen a minor improvement (pretty hard to improve much over U:DF) but wow, the backgrounds have SO MUCH more atmosphere and feeling in Uncharted 2.
MS owns Rare...they should add MS characters to KI3. Master Chief, Marcus Fenix/General Raam, Banjo-Kazooie, Joanna Dark (don't really know what she'd do), etc.
First, have you played the HW demo? I played it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just as I thoroughly enjoyed the Killzone demo. To me, both games deserve 8.8-9.2 out of 10. They are different but both very good. I will spend a ton of time playing both games, thanks.

Never owned a PS2 so I've never played either GoW1 or 2...I recently bought a PS3 (not backwards compatible...fffffffff) and want to know HOW excited I should get...A). I loved DMC4 and NG2...how similar are they? and B). Besides buying a PS2, how can I get the backstory of Kratos and his epic shenanigans?
Why would anyone complain about this addition. It's an optional control scheme. For the people who loved RE4's controls, don't use it. If you didn't like RE4's controls, you might like these. It's win-win.
I have both a PS3 and Xbox360...gears is amazing. Killzone 2 will be as well. Why does Killzone 2's success hinge on whether Gears was good or bad?
I kind of like the futuristic robot thing more. Maybe vs. will have a more traditional sword vs. beast feel to it?

When you play up the fact that your underdressed female character is only 15, you are going to have problems around the world. Why can't they make 21-30 year old females in JRPGs?
