Yes the PS4 will win NPD. This (2x sales announcement) was pre damage control for tomorrow. The Xbox One needed to drop kinect to have a month way worse than the PS4's worst month. People just don't want the Xbox One, they want the PS4. I don't blame them, it's pretty much better at everything and the Xbox One doesn't even know what it is. In 2014 the Xbox One has so far sold 902,000 consoles in the US.

They are on track to sell 2 million consoles in 2014 and have sold less in total than either of it's first 2 months in the US.

Exactly, No is the correct answer. 77k times 2 is 144k. The PS4 has never sold even close to 144k, the 360s lowest was 161k while supply constrained. This will be the 4th time the Xbox One has sold less than the 360.
Losing Kinect didn't do much, like all the other things that were suppose to save it.
Seriously, losing Kinect and still get outsold in AMERICA the month you did it is pretty bad.
People have very low bar on what is good and unrealistic expectations of a device that can't sell better month after month than the 360 with multiple incentives to buy it.
If everything was going so well they wouldn't have changed the policies, dropped Kinect, gave away Titanfall and had day 1 console available 6 months later.

The Xbox One's lowest month was 77,000 last month, since dropping the Kinect they say they double which would leave them around 150,000. The 360s lowest month was 161,000 while it was supply constrained after the holidays.
The FACT the PS4 is leading always in 2 places (US & UK) is crazy. The Xbox 360 absolutely dominated the PS3 in both regions. I don't expect you to understand, you have a hard time differentiating over simple things like resolution and tiers.

When mentioning the Xbox One's issues with multiplats is trolling, is hardly my fault. Pretty much ALL multiplats on Xbox One that are 1080p have framerate problems or are missing effects like AO or AA for example. The Xbox One beta has problems that weren't present in the PS4's alpha, like framerate problems (with no action going on or other characters to render on screen)

It has nothing to do with Bungie.
90% of the time the Xbox One hits 1080p in cross gen games, it has framerate issue, tearing or is missing effects present in the PS4 version. Expect Destiny to be no different. It's a system problem, not a developer problem.

Changes coming to the Xbox One once again. It's like a shapeshifter. I wouldn't be surprised if they lock the system down again and pursue the 'power of the cloud' campaign. It sounds like they want to focus on cloud and mobile and integrating Xbox into it, from what they've been saying lately. They could be slowly trying to kill off the Xbox brand by trying to destroy it's value, this IS what Stephen Elop does.
