well i got the demo, graphics are amazing, a bit emotionless but still stunning to look at.
gameplay is horrible though, trying to walk in a straight line is a chore, the story looks interesting, but im afraid i might fall asleep and miss it.
i need a new hard drive STAT im still living with a 20gigger and it sucks! im always having to delete stuff just so i can install games or make room for DLC installing mass effect 2 and the DLC that came with the collectors edition has crippled my hard drive.
i have a 360 and a 1080p tv so why would i get it on pc when i would have to fork out for a pc that could handle it?
and i hate playing games at a pc with the mouse and keyboard anyway, i like the social aspect of playing a game on a big screen with mates over.
i own uncharted 2, and mass effect 2, and ive got to say mass effect 2 is hands down a better game.
uncharted 2 is awesome dont get me wrong, but its awesome because it takes what has made other games great and mixes it till its nearly perfect, its one of the best action games ive played in years, not much replay value is its real weak point.
mass effect 2 is like a block buster movie that you get lost it, the universe is almost fully fleshed out, its not just a ...
sony have done well to close the gap, MS had a shocking year in 2009, its going to be interesting to see what happens now with all the big exclusives in 2010, and the launch of natal.
if sony keeps the heat on then its going to mean both console manufacturers will play hard and continue to offer the customers great new things for some time to come.
charity or not, this game looks shockingly bad! im not wasting points on this.
i still say it will go to ps3 at some stage, call me skeptical but as a 360 owner ive learnt that exclusive doesn't always mean exclusive, especially when it comes to xbox games.
it is lying, and it sucks, they even lied about the GTA DLC that they paid all that cash for, its a cheap and nasty way of claiming they have exclusive games.
whats next MS? i can see splinter cell being timed too, and if mass effect is coming to ps3 why wont EA just man up and tell people, its not like MS has any right to the IP.
it probably will come to ps3, its EA after all.
if MS was smart they would have bought bioware back when they planned mass effect to be a trilogy, i bet they are kicking themselves now.
i just wish they had put the game disc in a steelbook case, the first game had an awesome steelbook, having the sequel in a similar case would look cool in my collection.
the thing is around 70% of devs are supporting natal, my question is will insomniac support the sony device and how do they think natal compares to it.
insomniac are basically the rare of ps3, yes they had there time in the limelight but they are running out of new exciting experiences, there opinion doesn't hold much weight.
amazing sales for one of the best games ive played in years!
it will sell consoles, maybe not a huge amount but it will sell some, the first game was cool but ME2 is one of those rare games that people who dont own a 360 will pick one up just to play it.
just about to go out and pick up my collectors edition, cant wait!
ill be getting BS2 day one!
but i got the first game on 360, so even though i own both consoles i like to keep the series on one console, so 360 again for this one.
if you want to create well rounded and believable characters then probably yes, in a game like mass effect 2 where you interact with everyone, you want to see personality and emotions come out, it draws you into the experience.
gears 3 at X10?
if so they really need to impress this time, more of the same just wont cut it for me.
learn from bioware, take a great game and polish it in every way possible, ME2 shows how sequels should be done.
its obviously going to be an amazing year for 360, already theres a long list of must have exclusives, but if they feel the need for X10 then its only going to get better, i cant wait to see natal games in action, im sure there will be plenty of surprises.
i popped ME1 in for a wee play last night, the first time i played through the game i had it installed to the hard drive because i heard it made the game run better, however last night i did not install it, and wow, it ran like cr@p, i never realized how bad it is when you don't install it, i almost couldn't play it.
good work on the sequel bioware, thats how a true sequel should be done, take the first game and fix all the issues and make it better in every way, i cant wait to...
the D-head who wrote this could have let people know theres spoilers!
thank god i stopped reading when i did!
