yeah im loving crysis 2, absolutely one of the best shooters ive played, its sad theres so many elite geeks crying over how its been ruined by consoles, its gotta be better then playing WoW for the rest of your life guys.
yeah my expectations for KZ3 were low too, i wasn't a fan of KZ2 but decided to give the third a go, graphics for the most part were pretty good, but some areas did look pretty rough, it was also far too short and the story was weak, unless you like multiplayer i would suggest renting it, those who like online will probably get more out of it.
i thought the killzone 3 characters looked better, but actually playing the game there was some things i didn't like about them, like the way eyelashes look horrible, so does that guys beard that you meet later in the game, when he talks his chin kinda pops through the hair, also the helgast fur collars kinda look fake, but overall they still look cooler then the crysis characters.
actually the verdict on visuals from most sites is that 360 is still better then ps3, higher res slightly better frame rate, and installed the frame rate hasn't dipped for me yet, also there is self shadow in the 360 version, ive seen it several times and my friend had a laugh seeing his shadow in the game last night.
i never finished RE4 when i hired it for ps2, glad ill get the chance to finish it in HD this time.
i dont understand why people are being so harsh, crysis 2 looks fantastic, and apart from the odd technical glitch it plays damn well.
seriously people should just go and pick the game up.
im really enjoying it, still not that far in yet, but its a great shooter.
its not without its faults, theres alot that should be patched, but at the end of the day if you look past the flaws its one hell of a ride.
artistically gears3 blows crysis2 away, but graphics wise? i dunno its going to be pretty close judging by these pics, either way gears3 is going to be one of the best looking games so far this gen.
killzone 3 looked good but "deep deep textures" after playing the game i thought the textures were pretty rough in areas, i would say decent textures for the most part, but ive seen far better.
well after playing killzone 3 i can say yes it looks good, but better then crysis 2? im not convinced.
i was a bit let down by killzone 3, on one hand some areas look great, like the trash level where you destroy the big robot, other areas can look pretty rough, i thought the jungle level was down rite ugly, the MLAA really takes the sheen away from the game and leaves some areas looking unfinished.
i enjoyed KZ3 but it felt inconsistent as far as graphi...
i just dont understand why MGS4 never got trophy support, im mean how many times do we have to ask kojima.
yeah but MLAA causes awefull artifacts, in all honesty the only game where its looked good was god of war.
i agree the triggers are a pain on the DS3, i get cramp from the springiness of them, and yes my fingers do tend to slip off in the heat of battle, im fine with the rest of the pads layout, the 360 control fits in my hand better, but the d-pad sucks big time, but when i think of the blisters i used to get off the old genesis or nes control pads...well neither of the current controllers are that bad!
i still haven't decided if im going to get this for ps3 or 360, im going to wait until i know what version is best, but i cant wait to pick it up.

yeah im playing kill zone 3 atm, and its looks great, but i still find some of the textures character models and effects a bit bland, overall its pretty impressive though.
from what ive seen of crysis 2 it looks like its going to be a bit sharper and shinier then kz3, im definitely going to pick it up.
wh have still got search and rescue people from japan helping us here in new zealand, they have done an amazing job helping in the recovery process of the christchurch earthquake.
im glad to see that even while trying to recover from our own tragedy we are still sending our own specialists to japan, our thoughts are with all the people who have been affected by this event.
well i loved mgs4 but considering the story was impossible to follow i dont think hes in any position to talk, and that ending ugh.
just wait till the game comes out, its probably old code.
btw can anybody help me, ive got a problem with my ps3 slim where it gets a purple line and transparent blocky lines going down the screen, its had the problem before and been fixed but its back :(

so im guessing they haven't fixed the grainy filter effect glitch? i used the work around to get rid of it for now, but i want it properly patched.
