PC world will be pro microsoft for obvious reasons, but saying the ps3 is struggling is just completely ill-informed.
Ps3 has outsold the 360 every year it has been on the market, and yet, we never see any article explaining how the 360 is struggling, especially from such 'professional' websites.

yeah 1 and 2 are awesome but Doom3 is a bore-fest. Have my doubts for Doom4.

Not to mention the fact you can just plug your PC into your tv via hdmi and play it as if it was a console if sitting at your desk with keyboard/mouse isn't your thing.
PC gaming is just better in every way, but consoles are still awesome and have some pretty cool exclusives.
Yeah, but the 360's dashboard is by far more pleasing on the eye. Everything about it is better than the ps3's xmb.

There's a massive potential market in india, if one were to get their console popular their the US market would be child's play in comparison. But I guess gaming isn't affordable for a lot of people over there. Not sure if it's a cultural thing either.
It's relevant to sony and when talking about sales all that really counts is the relevance to the company. In the fanboy world it's irrelevant, but that isn't the real world now is it.

I also believe this will actually benefit the playstation brand having two well priced systems getting their name out there, especially in north america.

That wouldn't be difficult, the conference was horrible for the most part. U3 looked unbelievably good though.
A lot of people like to complain about milked video game franchises, but I think we need them. It gives us iconic worlds and characters and provides the balance between fresh new IPs and classic series and names we know and love.
Besides, milk tastes awesome :p
