For a long time fan you act like the PS4 was not done in the same way. Trickle little bits of info through the year and then a full console reveal in june with info about games the same day. After june, amp up the marketing to 11 and keep going til release and after.
The PS4 was shown the exact same way and it was fine then. What is so different now? Phil actually got MS to take the xbox serious and they seem more competitive and people are getting worried over nothing. ...

If a person has a bunch of digital games then it's a pain or if the game has big updates. Now add slow rural internet and it's a pain.

Phil Spencer is the best thing to happen to xbox in years and putting him in charge was a great decision. I'm rooting for both and can not wait for the new gen to start. Something is telling me that both are going to do great this gen.
Sony has always brought the games and now that Phil is in charge and being a gamer he knows that games are the most important thing.

I don't know which is better because I have no playtime with either one.
Both look like a step up from previous iterations so that's good, I just hope they are comfortable after a few hours of playtime. My hands are pretty big and smaller controllers cramp my hands up.
The joycons for the switch make my hands cramp up bad so I had to buy a pro controller.
I'm looking forward to using both.
I get around 6-7 hours out of all my DS4 controllers. I rarely have the time to do those kind of sessions but 6-7 hours is plenty of playtime in my opinion.
An elite controller does not come with every X1 though so it should not be compared to the ones that come with the console. A $150+ controller should be better then the standard ones.
You dont have to push a device to its limits to judge if it is easy to develop for.
I'll own both so I dont care which is stronger. I hope both are easy to developers for so we get games in a timely fashion.
It has enough difference to stand as it's own IMO.
As long as it is comfy and works good who cares.
