What happens if every game they released after the PS5/SX was next gen only?
Now with the pandemic and a chip shortage keeping new consoles out of gamers hands, how long til people are mad cause they did leave last gen behind?

We would still eventually need a PS5 for futures IPs in the series. I don't know about most but I got returnal and demon souls for my PS5 plus my huge backlog that all looks and runs better now.
I can't speak for other but I'm not mad.
Did Sony say that any of these games were exclusively for the PS4 and would not be cross gen?
Its as easy as not buying it. The game looks great and will most likely be fun to play so it is a day one for me.
I could wait and twiddle my thumbs because it's a cross gen title and even if the game is great it really won't be because.....you know...cross gen.
Some like to complain just to be heard....happens every gen.
If you don't like cross gen games, why not just skip them instead of complaining?
Games have development cost and since this game has been in development for years then releasing cross gen is the safest bet.
Why risk being shut down over poor sales because not enough PS5s are out in the wild? The game looks great as is and was a stop gap to branch one gen to the next. The next game in this series will be for PS5.
Chip shortage + pandemic = not enough PS5s. They have to release games crossgen to make back development cost because your chances of doing that with just 8 million or so PS5s is not gonna cut it.

Ah censorship? Or not wanting games with over sexualized minors? I'm not against sexual themes in games but come on, some of these characters look like ten year olds with big fake boobs and what not. If that is not on the morally wrong side....well something is wrong.
Myself and my cousin would take turns with our allowances. One would rent the entertainment and the other bought a pizza and drinks. We spent so many weekends gaming away.

You do know that all that is needed is a simple log in right? You can still log into psn on both vita and ps3 and ps4 and ps5.
The stores are closed for ps3 and vita that's it. Stop spreading doom and gloom.
Has anyone ever replaced one of these? I have and it is not that hard. A quick log in afterwards to PSN AND TA DA it's fixed.

I recently stated playing anthem and truthfully it has the foundation to be a great game.
