I feel like this will receive some backlash from major fans since it could be viewed as an exploitation of their passion.
I also came to this conclusion during my time playing online with the Call of Duty community
We're a couple hours away from some concrete answers. I think it'll likely be something among the lines of how games like Dead Space had the Regenerator as an invincible enemy. Maybe you're not expected to stay and fight. Just survive long enough to get away.
That was mentioned in the review. Later portions of the game increase difficulty (obviously), but the writers also mentioned that certain later enemies couldn't even be killed. So I guess from what we know at this time, it's possible to make it far into the game and then fall victim to one too many deaths. Then you'd be greeted with a fresh, 0% progress save. That is, unless there is some form of system that "resets" the amount of deaths you can build up as you play.
In the review that was taken down, it was claimed that some of the deaths felt cheap. It wasn't said how many deaths it took to reach the point of an erased save, though. Hopefully there is a balance between the number of required deaths and the "fairness" of each earned death.
Keep in mind, this was the opinion of one reviewer. We've yet to see any others surface.
They could release it on February 29, 2018 and they'd be just fine. RDR2 sales will soar no matter the release date.
I couldn't agree with you more. WAU should have been top priority with how long we've waited.
The developers tricked us. It was officially announced today!
I have never played any of the games to completion, but I found this article extremely interesting. It makes me want to give the series a more serious try.
How is Rogue Warrior not on this list? That game had some of the most absurdly filthy language in a game I've ever heard.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you're basing the comparison off of the similar logo styles between Tarkov and DayZ. While they may look alike in that aspect, the games are very different.
Devolver Digital and their acid trip induced conference stream
I couldn't agree more. When trophies first hit the scene, it had a negative impact on my gaming experience. Instead of simply enjoying the game at my own leisure, exploring whenever I felt like it, my actions were dictated by trophies. I'd slam things up to the highest difficulty and replay levels to the point of insanity, all in the pursuit of increasing my E-d***. When I switched to PC gaming, I refound my joy in playing games to play games because I didn't care about achievemen...
A fair point, but I believe general commentary is commonplace. Everyone has some form of bias to a degree. Straight reporting of news is not all that engaging in my opinion. I feel that personality and different viewpoints are perfectly acceptable additions to basic news stories. I like to get a feel for each writer instead of the copy+paste of a robotic press release they were emailed that day.
TFLOPS has become an industry buzzword and means very little in this context. If it is all that mattered, top-end GPUs of last gen wouldn't be outperforming new-gen mid-tier GPUs. There's much more to the picture here.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the difference lies within whose opinion is on show. For example, if Phil Spencer makes a statement about the future, it's news because a writer is simply reporting on the words of an industry figure. If a journalist of Website XYZ were to make the same claim with no other source than their own thoughts, it'd be considered speculation and therefore opinion. While both people could say the same thing, the source separates the article type. Tha...
No one is disputing exclusives here. This isn't about the library of games available on one platform versus another. This is about the spreading of misinformation and the skewed view of PC gaming in general. Claims like this are why console players truly believe it takes several thousand dollars to match a couple hundred dollar console. I'm not debating the value found within the Xbox One X. It's solid. But they're stating its power extends beyond reason.
If Honda ca...
Forza 6 has much higher system requirements than Forza 7. Feel free to check them out for yourself. Goes to show what optimization can do. The comparison you stand behind is a bit unfair,
Then they would bust through the rolling credits because they are too powerful to let the game end
I'm right there with you, NerdBurglars. I feel like the game may be solid on its own, but not as a Metal Gear game.
