Thanks for the tip... I've recently just been putting my phone on silent while going to a mission. I think it's a frustrating aspect but I wouldn't leave it out. Yeah and some of Niko's rebuffs to going out are pretty funny...
For some reason Dwayne won't ever pick up when called but always calls back but Niko keeps tellin D, that he never called. I can't get outta that loop ... anyone experience this too?
...and once you out-smarted the confusing SAVE system it became insanely addicting. IMHO This game also made the best use of the Microsoft's achievement system. Hell, I still go in the tunnels just to run over thousands of zombies to take the days stresses away. Unbelievably cathartic...
Personally, I'd love to see CAPCOM focus on getting a sequel out for this game ASAP; but this writer seems to think that's not in the cards. I hope he's wrong. VERY WRONG.
That's really my only gripe...I can't get to or thru a mission without some whiny b!tch gangbangerwannabe calling me out to go drinkin' or pool or some other fraggin' thing. Then when I say "No, I'm kinda being chased by cops" I lose their friendship or something. Then when I call them back they tell me "It's not the right time" or they don't even answer (lookin at you Dwayne). How would I know? You never gave me your schedules people.

"Geeez it's supposed to be LIMITED" This I understand. But I wasn't expecting LIMIT-ING. It looks very purdy BUT 40gigs and NOT backwards compatible is not worth it for me. I think a lot of people have a valid point regarding the reimbursable, yet mandatory, insurance when they point out "who happens to have that extra halfa grande these days"

With all these rhythm games coming out I'm also concerned about tracklists being watered down since there will be more companies vyeing for the best music. I'll be buying the game disc only... BUT that's only if they have a decent tracklist this time around.

They need to make all these intstrument "controllers" universally compatible to their particular console for all these rhythm games (if not total univerality). Doesn't look like they will cuz the RB drums have the bass pedal ORANGE but the GH4 has the right-side "cymbal" colored ORANGE.
That's great they're giving players the tools to make their own songs but that doesn't catch my interest as it sounds closer to homework rather than fun to me ...but that'...

I last left my intrepid explorers outside some temple (on disc 4)where there were rumored to be items of great power within battling lil' thieving monkeys and giant toads that smashed the life from ya... then GTA4 came out and I haven't had the energy to get back into skill-leveling system of Lost Odyssey, damnit. I love it but it's a lot of work. Really great game so far but I don't know if I'll have the time for this additional content for a very long time.
they released a while ago (Sith vs Star Destroyer etc) is up on XBLA... looks absolutely stunning full screen on a HD tv. I really can't wait for this game.
EDIT> There's also a little interview that's kinda interesting. Coulda been a game about a Fur-ball (wookie) which I still would be excited for. Hell gimmee a Jawa RPG :D
I still get the urge (and it's hopeless to fight) to get another %200+ in Castlevania SotN... Still one of my all time tops even against the games coming out now. I still marvel about the playability of the upside-down castle.

I'm not buying anymore equiptment either. Compatibility between peripherals is what I want and doesn't look to be in the cards. Comparing the RB drumkit and GH drumkit; I notice the colors are all switched... obvious difference is orange = base drum for RB but orange is the R cymbal for GH4...
If GH4 has a good enough setlist (as GH3 was totally disappointing) then I'll buy the game disc used.
