and I agree the hype machine is taking the StarWars ball out for a run.
... and it's up now.
and I think the larger damage spread might come from that more explosive perk. I know the noob-toobers use that combo to obliterate me. I've gotten into the habit of trying to keep range between me and the dieing but some of the maps don't make that possible... and I totally hear ya on the thru walls stuff. Swear to god that Helicopter sometimes has xray vision...
This is the highest review so far. Guess I'll wait til I see it on the bargain shelves but I'm definitely craving some HULK SMASH!!!!! Even if I have to get thru a slow and sluggish part to get there.
didn't really impress, did it? That's exactly what I was thinking. I saw it off of Marketplace today at lunch. Some of the cgi however looked pretty incredible.
Star Ocean 4 looked amazing!
EDIT> Revenant's gameplay footage seemed choppy and a little stiff/wooden in that trailer... still interested to see more tho.
... it's movin' along and comin' our way BD
Halo 2's ending was definitely one of the biggest cliffhangers I've ever played a game to get to and I totally felt completely ripped off because of it.
BACK TO MAIN TOPIC ~ One of my all-time-favorite cut scenes is totally old-school... the opening scene to Ninja Gaiden (NES). It was his father in a aerial duel with the other mysterious ninja. It was very simple and absolutely brilliant IMHO. I remember having friends over and just watching that scene repeatedly. Very inno...
up on XBL Marketplace (US) right now... I went home cuz I heard there might be a demo for Revenant up (NO as of yet)
Anyway... it was fraggin' amazing! Blew my mind. Can't wait. I'm totally new to Star Ocean but the trailer sold me.
...during my lunch and there was not a demo :( But there was a new trailer for Revenant, Star Ocean 4, and co-op gamplay footage of Too Human.
They all looked great... but Star Ocean 4 looked amazing IMHO.
of shooting someone who appears to be in my cross-hairs only to die by their hand cuz of lag. I only know it's lag cuz I watch myself in their "kill-cam" look at me shooting a wall 2-3 "feet" behind them. It's a fix I've been wanting for a long time but I don't even know if it's fixable. My kill spread can either be 20+kills/5deaths or 4kills/15deaths depending on my connection bars and the bars of my team-mates.
... I hear yah on the sniping thing too. ...
...still kinda wanna check it out tho. Since I was a little disappointed with Link's "next-gen" boomerang...
is exactly what I thought of when playing CoD4 on Veteran. My buddies told me I also need to see how similar it is to Black Hawk Down but haven't had the chance yet.
CoD4 Veteran is very brutal... the two parts that got me stuck the longest were escaping from the ferris wheel with the injured dude and getting thru the dark hallways of the nuclear silo. Those tested my patience and my controller's durability.
hearing that Dark Sector was not that great; but they also said that the main weapon should be played by any/all gamers as they said that it was the best part of Dark Sector and apparently very innovative. I'll download the demo just to see if that's really the case.
I thought the peeps that made Ult. Destruction would actually make a critically well recepted game based on a movie... oh well... I'll pic this up when it's sold back. Smashing thru buildings in a giant reproduction of Manhatten still sounds very cathartic.
...but I'll proly enjoy smashing the holy hell outta the environment. I'll proly end up getting this used for sh!t$ and giggles.
outta playing CoD4 on Veteran than if I woulda breezed thru the campaign on easy or medium. A story that took many people 6-10hrs to complete took me days. I'd like to go back thru the story on Hard to pay attention to all I missed while trying not to die all the time.
... still can't get that damn Mile High completed on Vet... that 30sec less is a beast.
Pirates are. IMHO that's gonna keep being a major thorn in developer's side for a long time.
...I'll reserve judgement (especially negative) until it gets released. I have never had the pleasure of playing CoD2 ...yet (at the used price $9.99, that's almost a crime) but I played the campaign (only) from CoD3 and wasn't disappointed at all.
Tales of... is looking very pretty. But I do not remember reading it was an exclusive to the 360.
Out of the 4 RPGs Microsoft spoke of recently, I only knew of Infinite Undiscovery being exclusive to the 360. And Remnant is gonna release earlier on the 360 than PS3.
... but this week's DLC sux.
