I do agree going to a 3 years cycle has allowed the past few COD to be really good(after ghosts they went to 3 year cycle and advance warfare was the 1st game that came out of the 3 years development window and it was very good entry)

i was thinking about it today and i think you are right. I much rather get a more powerful ps4 this year and play all games at full 1080P 16 60FPS
quality was better for ps3 and here are 2 main reasons
sony wanted to entice gamers into subscribing
ps3 had a very large backlog when psn plus was launched so ti was easy to offer AAA game
