i think we will see many other developers who will be bought out within next 12 months. AAA development is becoming so expensive so almost every developer who wants to make AAA games need a huge publisher so they will side with ms or sony

Bust FF7 at minium will be a 12 month exclusive if not longer. Without sony it wouldn't have happened this quickly
Anytime ms and Sony pay for timed exclusive they pay enough for the publisher of the game to fund part of the development. Publishers are in a win win because they get money upfront and get to keep the profit from sales

Sony and ms are doing their own things and don't look at Nintendo as competition. Many who own switch also own another platform like ps4 or Xbox one as their main console for most 3rd party games

Say what you will but ms and Sony don't look at Nintendo as competition. They are competing with each other while Nintendo is doing its own thing. Sony in my opinion has better and more IP's and know how to dominate world wide and how to make a comeback too(unlike Nintendo Sony didn't give up on ps3 when Nintendo gave up on wiiu after only a short time)
Quality over quantity any day
Anything over 35-40 hours is too long especially if most of the content is fetch quests like last dragon age or last 2 AC games
Horizon zero dawn is perfect length wise but so is Witcher 3 which is much much longer but has quality over quantity

FF13 was announced at ms Xbox stage at E3 and FF15 was never announced as a exclusive(versus 13 was suppose to be a ps3 exclusive)
Definitely bluepoint they are talented. Insomniac would be a huge get, they tried Ea and ms yet 2 of their recent games became company's best selling games in their history(first ratchet and clank and now Spiderman so their success is with sony) Talk to Kojima since he always liked playstation
They will also have a lot of natural growth within their already owned studios. Some of their studios more than one development team
