If that happens the install base for xbox would diminish even more. If and that's a huge if that ever happens ms would become a content software company. The biggest reasonif you never happen because Xbox live generates too much money for Microsoft for them to give up on Xbox brand

As a playstation fan I would agree I think if they were ever serious about competing with Sony they are now in that position. I don't think people realize the value of bathesda acquisition. Fallout, ES are huge IP's and go have them exclusive and day one on gamepass will add a lot of value
Overall I still think playstation 5 will outsell XSX 2-1 just because PlayStation is a much stronger brand worldwide

Try facebook marketplace, offer up and follow CAG on twitter you can find a xbox series x from me store many times. Between the 2 it's te easier one to get right now and even 2nd hand market sale price is much more reasonable compared to ps5
Played the original which was perfect game and I am willing to be satisfied because in my opinion this game didn't need a sequel(again just personal opinion I feel the same way about RDR)

My point stands and it's simple. Ms can survive/thrive without xbox while Sony can't without playstation. And bidding war or not sony is big enough to buy some of these japanese publishers who own a lot of well known IP's. PlayStation has been outselling xbox 2-1 sometimes 3-1 so I don't think Sony is stressing about this. And those celebrating this do remember the monster ms may have created by doing this. For Microsoft Xbox is not their focus/bread and butter (it accounted for 5 billion out of 43 billion ms made) while playstation is Sony's main course and focal point for their long term success
