you can't recreate the magic of sotc w/ an rpg. what made sotc so amazing was playing as a normal guy w/ no magic or special abilities fighting against the colossi.
i'll have to see gameplay footage before i make any judgments. sure the trailer was cool but how much of what was in the cut scene but cut scenes always do.
i'll be passing on this game. graphically, it's not impressive. there are very few zombie models, guy wearing shirt, guy wearing jacket, woman wearing shirt, woman wearing jacket, big fat thing, even bigger thing that doesn't(even in the slightest)resemble a zombie, that's it. plus, i would prefer a game with classic Romero style, slow moving, zombies which focuses on survival rather than body count.

then this quote "The original game fit on a 360 disk so it wasn't like we were in need of room" confirmed what i thought. the reason blu-ray isn't needed for bioshock is because it was designed for the 360 not the ps3.

The Sims was designed to be accessible for non-gamers and it is the best selling game ever. and according to the reveiw Spore is better than The Sims ever was so i'd say that sounds pretty good.

damnit. i just spent $2,000 on an alienware laptop so i could play spore. whatever, i needed a new laptop for work...plus i can write it off of my taxes as a business expense.
i'm sure i'll still buy spore for the pc.

gears2 is really the only game in that last that i'm looking forward too. fable 2 might be worth a play through, i didn't care for the first one.

i wasn't aware the 360's glory days had even started. i think i own 4 360 games. my 360 died for the 2nd time months ago and i'm still waiting for microsoft to give me a reason to send it in for repairs. so far i haven't seen any games worth the trouble.

yeah, there is gears2 but one game is not going to sell me on the 360. the first gears was good but not amazing and i'm looking forward to R2 much more than gears2.

whatever, all game franchises get milked to death. my problem w/ gh is that w/ every gh release(odds are rb too)you must buy new peripherals to take full advantage of the new features. in other words, not only is activision milking the gh game but also the peripherals.

if spore does become a phenomenon it will make money on expansions like the sims did. i'm sure w/in 6 months of release we will see the first of many expansions to come. think about all the things that could be added to spore, premade creatures, premade buildings, planets, galaxies, new space ships, new weapons, new items to place in your towns to make your creatures happy...the list goes on and on.
i hope a religious nut does complain about spore promoting evolution. just like...
