Isn't this apples to oranges? The Last of Us is still a last gen game. Ryse is a current gen game. The Last of Us may have gotten a fresh coat a paint but, it's a Remastered version. Not built from the ground up. I guess Ryse could technically compete as it was originally intended for Kinect only controls for the 360 when or around the time Kinect was announced... May have been the following year.... Yeah, let them go at it. The Last of Us Remastered vs Ryse Remastered.

All that talk about "Games will look identical with the PS4 versions looking marginally better." I keep hearing this same word over and over again which is "edge" or "edging" but, when everyone sits down to discuss it all, it doesn't seem like that's the case. Miniscule doesn't seem to be the case. It's a clear contrast in every comparative discussion. The PS4 is clearly more powerful and, look at the PS3 from Folklore, to 2009. Games will do the ...

Sony doesn't have a lot of money to throw around. They're borderline bankrupt remember? Where is the money coming from to pay for these exclusives then? Sony may be offering them higher profits on Sony's Royalties but, they don't have the money. The profits Sony Computer Entertainment are making have to go toward making up the differences of Sony Corporation as well. Their company needs to be profitable again and Sony Computer Entertainment has to fill that void so, they can&#...

I would respectfully disagree with you. True, desperate times call for desperate measures. Let's look at Nintendo first. Sonic Worlds? From third - party Sega but, I heard was funded by Nintendo. Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2? Funded by Nintendo exclusively for Wii U. The next Fatal Frame? Exclusive to Nintendo.

Now, a business is a business. This isn't a charity or loyalty matter. If your business doesn't make money, it doesn't thrive and put food on its employee...

I was thinking I was going to have the bite the bullet and get an Xbox One to play 'Sunset Overdrive' and it would have cost me $400 for the console and the game. However, with this news, it looks like I can just wait it out and will eventually see 'Sunset Overdrive' on my PS4 and will only have to pay $50-60 for it instead. Ted Price and Insomniac Games are going to have go multi-platform at this rate. If they want to reach the broader audience they left Sony for, a lot of Xb...

Really Ferguson? There's no game that has that same sort of cover style? Um... Duh! That's because the characters in the game aren't steroid induced testosterone fueled characters. There more down to earth so they're not going to imitate.

Secondly, leave it to Microsoft to do just this! Ferguson proves the point I've made all along that Microsoft steals others innovations and claim them as their own. Gears of War wasn't the first game to use the cover ...

I don't see how. Xbox can have it. These aren't the days of SEGA anymore where a loss of EA support cripples you. SEGA created 2K and Visual Concepts and look where they're at now. Different era people.

Kutaragi - San, sir. You were just way too ahead of your time.

$50 says Microsoft follows this up with Gears of War Remastered because that's just how they do things. Microsoft never has been nor will ever be innovative in anything. They'll always be right at the heels of their competition or the fly buzzing around their head only stopping long enough to barf, regardless of who their competition is be it: Sony, Nintendo, Apple, Google. Bill Gates has never known what ...

Nobody's putting off getting a PS4 until they can watch their own movies or .mp3s it's a wait for games that utilize the hardware and not cross-platform.

It's a business..... Duh. In competition with what Saint? The acknowledgment is that Sony has the best business model, not that they don't charge money. Of course things will cost money.

Still, Sony defended traded in and selling used games... How does that profit them? Alright, so they sell InFamous Second Son, but two other gamers are waiting for a used copy. How does Sony make money off of that? Microsoft and Valve fight that. Even EA fights that. Nintendo and Sony...

That's right. You love having a console that was going to restrict everything and it wasn't until Sony fans cheered for an open system that you got what little you've gotten. You love 720p and 60fps.I mean, why not when 1080p and 60fps are possible.

So.... No .mp3 support for some time then. And, so what if Apple won't let the App work that way, Google doesn't enforce that. Let's think logically here. So, Sony won't release their App for the Windows Phone. How is that treating consumers equally? It isnt. So, why not entreat Google users to the bonus ability of not using a browser but all things in - app for purchasing an open system. There are perks to to owning certain things. Isn't that right Exclusive DLC?? I mean ...

They might be but, it's the causal gamer that's going to knock it. Comparison videos show a drastic improvement and that's before taking into consideration lighting and framerate. The average gamer isn't going to notice the difference. You want to define a real casual vs core gamer after you've separated out the fanboys? Simple! See if they really can notice the difference. It's there. Advanced Anti-Aliasing, texture resolution bump as well as resolution bump as a whol...

Well, when you know Naughty Dog has two teams, you know Uncharted 4 is slated for next year holiday season and a new IP from Naughty Dog has been in the news, it does start to sound fishy. Additionally, Co - President Christophe Ballestra in interview was asked about their game. "Well, when we develop our games, we always make them higher res and then tone that down for PlayStation 3.... My hard drive is almost full." You could say: "Well, this is just business talk" then ...

Wait... PC is all pretty much the same thing. All your games are digital, and if you've got a PC, you've got the internet. Would the same have happened with PS4, just to be fair.

When I started out last gen, I was so impressed with the Xbox I chose over the PS2, that I got an Xbox 360 and my friends all had one. I bought into HD DVD as well thinking it was going to be the format to come out on top. I bashed the PS3 every chance I got too. And then, tax season came around and my buddy got a PS3 and begged me to go check it out. I caved under enough pressure and in the end was impressed and from then on didn't care what anyone else said. I saw Virtual Fighter 5. Tha...

This doesn't sound like a very smart move. I didn't know Capcom had the money to do this? I thought they were selling off their stock. Does this mean that nobody is buying or making any deals? Or is Capcom really not in that big of trouble? If DmC: Devil May Cry didn't sell the first time, which to me wasn't all that impressive graphically because--in my opinion--Unreal Engine 3 sucks anyway, then this isn't going to benefit it either.

Sounds like a bad mo...
