I contributed to that. I havent paid Epic Games a single penny. They wanna just give games away? Alright, Ill take free. I dont buy Microtransactions either so they dont make any Fortnite money off of me and Im a happy gamer, taking on The Man. You can own large corporate business, by playing their game but not by their rules, looking for technicalities and Ive got a pretty impressive game collection vs the guy thats spending on parishible digital items we're seeing with PlayStation Stor...
Well, but your right. It was a cheap shot by Microsoft and Microsoft are so narcissistic, theres zero gratitude and zero class. Figures....
Who is MLB to dictate how Sony exclusive developers run their business? Even if Sony said "fine, let other developers make baseball games" Sony owns baseball. 2K tried to compete and apparently couldnt compete and EA even recognized the work and gave up to focus on football and hockey. Jim Ryan just has no spine. Hes afraid to compete and isnt willing to take risks, meaning, hes in the wrong field of work. Nobodies gonna challenge Sony with baseball. The hest thats shown up on compe...
Too expensive. Not worth $69.99. I'm waiting until its $39.99, which probably won't be long, just like The Show 21. PS5 is teaching me restraint and patience. It all started just trying to get the PS5 alone. PS4, I had no restraint or patience. PS3 was even worse, I got Collectors Editions, Special Editions all Day 1. I loved the PS3, best Sony console.
In some ways he has, but Xbox is still the same. Inexperienced liars and decievers. Honestly, I think Don Mattrick did a better job with Xbox 360, it wasn't until Xbox One he had problems. Phil Spencers a sham.
Must be from Minnesota or Michigan, whoever wrote this, because only that area pluralizes everything.
Because that just makes perfect sense, doesnt it? Jim Ryans a moron. Herman Hulst? Used to have a brain when he was running Guerilla Games internally. He was a tech giant that wanted to max out whatever you gave the man but now, the powers gone to his head and Jim Ryans poisoned his intellect. Fricken Europeans. Filthy red-coat. They can do business as well as they cant fight a war.
Hes got something that'll cause (should cause) Sony to cringe. Jim Ryans been steering PlayStation down a really slippery slope, eventually every empire must fall. What Don Mattrick did for Xbox One Jim Ryan is set to do for PlayStation, hes spineless, gutless, a coward, ignorant, and clueless, hes to be the fall of PlayStation. His ego got the better of him and the penalty is about to be called. I dont even have a business degree and can see this coming.
Hes totally ou...
Not at all important. Im EXTREMELY happy Nintendo and Sony havent focused much on backward compatibility. It means that Sony and Nintendo are looking at the present and into the future, using current hardware to its fullest. Why build all the components to a Dodge Charger, build the frame around it and then drop the engine of a Dart into it, or you take the Challenger out onto the race track, nitros loaded and hooked up in the trunk and on the track youre driving 35 mph, why?
Its already started.
Agreed, its certainly not fair that the most recent and soon to be released The Show 21 is going to be $10 more on Sonys own platform developed by their own studio and even worse is that its free on Xbox, THE COMPETITION.
It was apparently explained to Inverse that the MLB did dictate the decision that the series go to Xbox for more gamers to experience The Show. Now mind you, The MLB didnt develop the game and spend years and years tuning it and making it the quality piece...
Im happy to see PlayStation has that big of an effect on the gaming industry. Consumers, they never appreciate anything fully until its too late. Nobody cared about the PS3, they were too busy buying into the propoganda about the PS3 while buying the Xbox 360 that failed over and over again. It took a price drop for some to appreciate it and then they griped they didnt get backward Compatibility.
Consumerism.........
Or you could just just buy the games on the Wii, N64, and Gamecube for dirt cheap.......
I can remember a time when there was only game on the market that was so rare and so sought after that it commanded such a rediculous price tag, not even the Nintendo Championships cartridge dared the asking price even though it was most likely far more rare. Im talking about the $300 Panzer Dragoon Saga and NOBODY thought anybody would pay the absurd price for such an amazing game BUT in time it was seen as just that, an amazing game everyone had to have. Once copies of Panzer Dragoon Saga b...
Eck... I just cant justify $69.99 for a base version of any game, especially knowing that a price hike isnt going to eliminate DLC or microtransaction costs, theyre gonna happen anyway to nickel and dime customers. Thats NOT customer service or consumer advocacy. Im really having to learn patience this generation waiting for price drops to $39.99 instead so developers will lose a significant amount, on me anyway. But that doesnt mean Im not talking to people and telling them they should consi...
Youre never gonna sell Xbox in Japan, though, Sonys stupid decision under Jim Ryan and now Herman Hulst, The Show 21 on Xbox could help. The Japanese love them some American Baseball.
Who said Marios dead? Mario is Nintendos staple and as long as Miyamoto is around, so will Mario and Zelda. But, thats part of the problem. Nintendo havent really ever looked out at acquiring any new talent even to apprentice, theyve just relied on him and hes not getting any younger and all that smoking is catching up to him so when Miyamoto is gone, then you can really start worrying. Til then, relax already!
Things are really not looking too good for this game. Gears of War Judgement was crap in comparison to the original trilogy and Bulletstorm nobody ever really played and this game everyones just repeating how much junk it is and how boring it is, its really not looking good and odds are Microsoft has their eyes on acquiring them
All you have to do is buy a PlayStation console and really have good restraint to not buy that game for a year and if you can be that patient, youll get it for free, yes.
Yes, through quality and not quantity but Fhe Show 21 is proving PlayStation are now starting to make decisions, trying to play it safe, theyre going to regret later down the road wishing theyd taken the gamble. So what if they dont own the sole license to MLB, they wouldve had their pride and theyd shown even up against MLB 2K (their only real competitor as EA backed out) that 2K couldnt compete. Microsoft knows this and tactically acquired The Show on their own console giving Sony nothing i...
