I'm not surprised by this review, the beta ran terrible for me I wasn't impressed with it.
Only place you'll get that much for stuff like that is eBay a fool is quickly parted with his money on that site

Too bad unless you have a recent system with beefy specs the PC beta runs like crap I'm hoping the PS3 version changes my impression of the game because with my system a quad core i7, geforce and 4 gig of RAM I was looking for at least a playable framerate and for me it was pretty much unplayable on lowest settings.
Slims play PS1 games just fine , beat RE2 again for the first time in years on my 250gb just the other day
Good luck, beta ran like crap on mine all settings at lowest terrible fps and I've got an i7 w/ 4gb of ram and a Geforce 310M , game looks good on the high settings but you need a beefy graphics card or expect horrible framerate. Really wanted to get deeper into it but was really unplayable on mine to be honest, guess I'll have to wait for the PS3 version to give it a fair evaluation

If the games are current and at market price, maybe. Like it is today? Old titles at outrageous prices (ie GTA4, Barebones Fallout 3 $30) ...no thanks!!
I'm willing to bet if they continue to use Lite-ons for their drives they will still continue to fail. Never had an RROD but sure have had to send in for repair for not reading discs
You would have to be a sucker to buy the first revision, probably going to be just as unreliable as the original.. I'm on my fourth jasper in one year of 360 ownership, all had faulty lite-on drives that ended up needing to be sent in for repair, I doubt Microsoft has changed with this incarnation.
Currently on chapter 9 and haven't had a single problem with the game on my slim. Sounds like an isolated issue or a console on its way out to me

This hit me after I changed my password in 2.52. Lost my GTAIV, LBP, Resistance 2, Wipeout and Uncharted save files because of this, they all refuse to load because they say they were created by another user. Making another user with the same name after deleting the old one then reloading a backup still ends up with same result. May 2008 40gb here.
