Lets be honest, this game is very blockey! The MODE7 and scaling and rotation are not finished like in Mario Kart for SNES.
I don't wanna be a rude troll but I belive Sega CD with the 32x add on could pull this game off no problem. Just look at Daytona USA! it will be a while into home consoles will catch up to the Arcade hardware.

I will pick a HD-DVD player up for 2 reasons.
1. It will be a collectors item just like mini disk and beta max. Something fun to show your grandkids or sell on e-bay in 20 years.
2. when they finally admit they lost I can see the movies going on a vapor
sale for like $10!
