We keep talking about 2008 being the year for PS3, but it also may be the year for PSP. PSP has been selling like hotcakes and this is all it needs to really start to pull ahead of DS.
If you think about it gamecube is still running. It sold like 26 million worldwide. but Wii is still the gamecube just repacked like ps2 slim.
so add the 100 million to the old 26 million and then Nintendo may tie PS2 sales almost.
Wow you gotta give it to Nintendo they make money on every Wii sold even if you buy ZERO games. thats very smart!

The cell is 12x faster then a P4 at mpeg2 video decoding.
and it kicks ass in all areas.
If I need to chose between 60 player on line and a slight improvement in Graphics or 30 player online and a big graphic leap I'll take the latter.
Maybe we will get both and maybe PS3 has more juice then we thought.

I was reading that not only did the game use only 20% of the systems SPU's. Even when they get to 100% there is still room to optimize. God of war 1 used 100% of PS2's power but they still found trick and short cuts to push GOW2 even farther. Thats how I know Sony's 10 year play will work. I believe that in 2/4 years Microsoft will pump out a new system.
