I excited for so many reasons but to be honest I will be excited for anything new after 6-7 years of the same. PS3 and 360 are great but I'm ready for something fresh. I want to smell the packaging inside and open it up like a kid at Xmas.
There is a reason the so called NIN fanboys are less offensive. That reason is because we are an older crew that grew up in the 80's and have owned and played many systems and realise at one point that games are games no matter what piece of hardware they are played on. I have as much fun with 8bit games as I do on a Maxed out GTX680 PC.

Does it matter? They are called backups for a reason. The law states you can back your games up in the event of damage you will have a backup copy to use. So maybe my house caught fire. Thank god for my backups!
I'm sure game companies love for you to buy the same game 10 times over to max out the profits, It's a good thing that America has laws that protect us from that type of greed.
I have my Wii modded running Snes Roms. It's a nice emulator because it auto updates and works perfect with any controller with no setup required.
Please note you must also own a legal copy of each game or it's considered illegal.

I strongly disagree. The Wii mote is far better for long gaming sessions for not motion based games. It's so relaxing to play games like mario kart with my hands resting apart now having to protract my shoulders and tense my hands together with a standard controller.

I still play and love my Wii. I have 57 epic games I enjoy. Working on Last story now in 480p in all it's glory.
I have a trick to make Wii look great. don't play on a LCD or hidef TV. I use a good CRT with component cables. It's much better on the eyes.
