I was playing Metroid prime at the time of Halo 2 release. I turned the game on, played it for a half hour and was very disappointed. I'm not trying to piss anyone off I'm only speaking my mind.

I will be honest. PS3 cost me about $2,000. Yes I got a PS3 before I had a HIDEF TV, I had a 20' tube and no home stereo. After playing PS3 in low def I had ENOUGH! So I went out and got a nice LCD and a nice 5.1 surround system. Its been about 3 months since I made the transition... I still get excited to go home after work and play with my toys.

I believe Project 8 is a single layer DVD. If thats true then its the wrong game for this test. YES 360 loads faster on a single layer DVD 12mb per sec. PS3 blueray is 9mb per sec on both layers. unfortunately, duel layer DVD games run much slower on 360's dvd rom. Tony is a perfect game to compare if you work for Mr. Gates because its a 4 gig game. there for, 360 is at its best. Lets try that same test on 50 gig game like MGS4. I remember reading about how Insomniac had to HAND program Fall OF Man. I can picture them in there studio having a stressed out day. Also in that interview they said soon it will get easer after the dirty work is finished. New tools will arise. They also said PS3 is still much easer to program then PS2. Sorry I forgot the source. You are correct about Universal. I have been wondering how long they will stay on board with HDDVD when it is clearly failing. Rumor's I have been hearing is George Lucas has been eyeballing Blueray for some time now. We all know what that means:) I personally believe when Star wars comes out on blueray only. (if that happens) the war will be over and Universal will drop HDDVD. At least thats what my crystal ball shows me:)
