"Surprisingly, BioWare posts a detailed, non-PR reply" = not surprising at all when you follow some of their devs, producers on Twitter who have been communicating in such a very transparent way for a few months, and answering many players questions. They also publish officiel posts on their blog.
Anthem might not be as great, as polished it could be right now, but you can tell BioWare is truly listening and I'm pretty confident the game will already get a lot better af...
Such a nice retro 3D plateformer. Thoroughly enjoyed it and glad to see it performed really well. Hoping for a sequel now :)
I don't think they're getting lazy. If they decided to not be at E3 next year, it's obviously because they have some big plans and are preparing something...
And that, ladies & gentlemen, is nothing to be proud of. It's the absolute cancer of this industry, and it really needs to be fought. Shame on you Rockstar, don't give a single shit if the game is exceptional or not, NOTHING can justify ruining your employees' lives.
Nope, they don't. It's my fav AC in terms of story and character development, as for many other fans.
No, you're right. God Of War is no Resident Evil 4. It's far better written, much deeper and more emotional.
Can only agree, fantastic game, and best one in the series.
Oh but there were new unlockable items in the original game, included the Queen Sword from Ico. Those items were unlocked by completing time-attack mode in normal and hard difficulty. So, the fact Bluepoint is adding unique new items is not a problem at all to me, I think it's really cool actually.
Oh gosh, please stop with this overrated game, and let's move to more interesting games that'd deserve some recognition.
Disagree, it is a great game. Even though the solo campaign is not incredible, it's still quite good and offers some interesting views and infos on the SW lore. The multiplayer part has lots of content, and the space combats are the best we've got in a SW game since a long time...
DICE has nothing to do with the solo campaign, it was developed by Motive. DICE took care of the multiplayer part, and Criterion of all the space combat.
Can't believe this shitty piece of an article is trending. AC Origins is a damn great AC, in almost every regard possible. I'm a huge fan since the first game, and can honestly say that, to me, it's the best AC ever made. It's taken the right way for the series to now pursue.
Well, it sure is an impressive piece of hardware, but 0 interest imo because it's badly lacking on the exclusives side. I won't buy an Xbox One X just to play Forza 7 @4K display, and the only games that interest me like Super Lucky's Tale and Ori and the Will of the Wrasp are on PC too, like most Xbox titles.
So, yeah, cool to have a powerful machine, but they'll need to boost up a lot their exclusive line-up, 'cause the competition is destroying them at that, a...
And you could actually pet cats & dogs in AC3
The Last Guardian just showed what could be achieved in terms of advanced AI. Maybe it's time for developers to accept the idea that videogames AIs should not always obey the players as simple gameplay tools.
Trico is a fascinating example of what an autonomous AI can offer to a game, in terms of interaction and immersion. I can understand why it would annoy some players, but I think there's never been a more impressive AI in a videogame before.
The reason why Trico...
Shadow of the Colossus did that more than 10 years ago, just saying.
But that's really great to see that again, in a new-gen game. Well done Guerrilla !
MGSV bug-free ? LOL. Sure... Uncharted and TLOU both have had bugs. Jak II and III were full of bugs, some quite annoying. But you know what ? That's okay, because a bug-free game does not exit. Period.
Just another pointless article taking profit of Ubisoft's reputation. Like it was a huge surprise "OH MY GOD, A VIDEOGAME WITH BUGS". Thank you Captain Obvious.
The funny thing is that Skyrim came out with far more bugs than any Ubisoft game, but strangely, n...
I'm a huge fan since the first one on PS2, but now I prefer the PS3 games by far. Better stories, deeper background, and beautiful environments. Of course, I loved the PS2 games but I'm glad they took a more narrative way. A Crack In Time is still my favorite in the whole series.
And that's why I'm staying on PS4. At least there will be a Ratchet game. Microsoft consoles have always been really lacking on the cartoony action/platformer side... *sigh*
Unreal started out as a very limited engine, made for FPS. The same goes for Frostbite and many other excellent engines in this industry which were conceived to answer specific needs in a specific genre. It's not about "scrapping" it, it's about EA deploying the necessary development and R&D efforts to make it more versatile before imposing it to all their studios like they did, which was a mistake.
What happened with Anthem and ME:Andromeda should not be a reas...
