Nice. Just goes to show that the Xbone is purposefully locked down.
Sony has just won all of Asia. :)
I fail to see how the situation has changed. Porting is porting and is something the industry is used to. Whether the industry is good at the software porting process is another question entirely but they already do it.
I don't like the sound of this. Maybe it will be for the best though if Sony can directly aquire Kojima.
The point is that it makes Microsoft's stance pure BS. Unless they have excellent communication... talking to them is garbage.
But... "talk to us"?
I'd like to hear from those of you in denial. What problems did he state exactly?
I did read the article and challenge you to clarify the issue.
It's nothing but a BS article for PR. He doesn't mention the problems just makes a generic blanket statement.
I want this already. Played the first one with the PS Move.
Nope. If it were straight forward they could openly talk about it publicly. Yet it sucks so much that they have to keep it secret from the general public.

Drop the clause or this is just PR BS.
"Talk to us"?
I've seen where MS doesn't want to talk about it.
I hope it's true.
Less bots? But... the cloud? That AI was supposed to be amazing because it was handled by the cloud. Why would you want less "cloud" power?
I've never been a fan of Steam. Yet I am surprised by the flood of comments against them at the moment. I thought everyone but me loved Steam?
Phil is lying or has gone full retarded. Steam is the one to beat on the PC end of things.
If MS really wants to win... they can put their money where their mouth is. MS could create 25 new studios and fully fund each of them for AAA new IP. Yet they won't. Of course they want to win but they won't spend the money to do so.
Microsoft has lost me forever. They want me... fund Shenmue 3.
It fizzled out after 3 months. That aside... most games don't give away their paid DLC. It just proves they've sunk to a new low and had to do something desperate to stay relevant until the sequel arrives.
How the mighty have fallen.
They should also mention that the biggest game of the year will be higher resolution on PS4. The Phantom Pain is already known inferior on Xbone.
Shareplay is awesome. I use it to play local or couch co-op stuff online.
Microsoft always wanted a totally restricted console. That's why DRM is so engrained into the Xbone that they still find traces of it after it's supposedly been removed. China just gave them an excuse to attempt to revert back to the original agenda. They were hoping could blame the Chinese government for what was the original Microsoft plan.
