Your missing the point.If they make an investement, they should make a comitment to making the game as good as it can be and not half-arsing some version just to maximise their profits on the francise. If dev don't spend enough time on it then, why do thy expect it to sell well? It's no ones fault but their own they can't keep using this "The PS3 is too difficult to develop for" excuse anymore (*cough EA *cough Cough)
Yeah, I agree, devs need all the money they can get, game developing is an expensive business. IMHO I don't really give one crap about this since I don't have a 360 anymore (sick of RROD - 4 times FFS!) but is sure as hell funny.
Really coz I heard when people actually spent time on a game, like COD4 for instance, that they are the exact same. Lets face it, this franchise suck a$$ and they're just trying to get a quick buck, the PS3 insn't inferior, lol, it just needs some more love at the moment then the 360. It's all the devs fault - the make the game. If COD4 can do it so can everyone else.

Blu-ray get 100Gb at 3 layer not 75GB
Meh it's so obviously that HD-DVD only use this 51GB disc as a marketing ploy I mean they can only manage to squeese 1GB higher then a dual layered Blu-Ray? I'm sure thay could have went higher. I mean if they manage 51GB on a triple layer what can blu-ray manage?
They did with Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom, but that game was mediocre.
Neither is the 360 for that matter. That comment doesnt hold up very well because we all know that 600 and 500 dollars repectively was still alot of money for a console. I think (and so do most) that the new price is excellent value for money I mean $50 in the difference, that's nothing! Oh and btw 40Gb comes bundled with Motorstorm and 80Gb with Spiderman 3 - so they are bundled with games.
The trailer or rather tech demo certainly looked good. Mo-Cap made the cutscenes in Heavenly Sword amazing, for how few that there were, I certainly hope this is longer then HS, lol. HS certainly set the standard for Mo-Cap but it can definately be improved on.
Exactly my point! Peoples views about the PS3 are changing, it used to be mostly "The PS3 sucks!!!Its gonna Fail" its slowly changing to "Yeah I might just get that console! Trust me I think the PS3 will be a different console in 2008 - Now is really only the PS3 launch.
OMG the PS2 was at 22mil in the same ammount of time the 360 took to get to 10mil. The Wii has more sales then the 360 in less then that too! The original xbox managed to scrape 30mil. What did the PS2 get? 120mil- 3 times that! Sony has much better brand recognition, consumers and devs were just waiting until a resonable price tag accompanied the console, your just starting to see the difference now. Can't wait to see your guys face in 2008.
If that comment was posted five months ago I would have agreed. Its total B$ now, lol! PS3 is closing fast, all those comments you made are not the case anymore, ports are starting to look the same and soon enough they will get better. An article was posted here eariler where the hardware sales are nearly the exact same trends the 360's were in their first year.

Really good article. I agree that now is really only the launch of the PS3. 2008 has the best line-up ever I can think of in PS history. Home is starting it off!
They couldn't because they were in a lawsuit with Imersion (the developers of rumble in the dualshock). I think it was a good move because we wouldn't of had the motion sensitive sixaxis. I think sony felt pressured to add something in place of rumble. Its great now because we can have both :D
Just like Mass effect is an amalgamation of Halo and Final Fantasy? My god if anyone defends a PS3 game nowadays its a big fat fanboy stamp labelled on their forehead. Get over it! Its an awesome game and so is Mass Effect!
One simple answer - They can't! The cell is so high tech, they're still getting to grips with it.
Yeah, I'm sure devs are gonna jump from 40% to 100% in less then a year - good one. DO you even know what the cell is? ITs so far ahead of its time, 100% would probably be next to impossible at the moment.
Oh C'mon for gawd sake!, Gamespot wasn't the site that gave it the highest score, other sites have given it a 10/10. You can't always look for reasons for things, maybe assassins creed is good, you don't know. Your saying that Gamespot are being biased because they gave ratchet a avarage review and made ps3 fans mad, so they said a ps3 game is good OMG what the hell is wrong with you. They don't have to make up for anything. Just accept people have different opinions on the game.
Well if you guys look on Wikipedia, assassins creed got pretty high scores from everyone before today, I mean famitsu never give 37/40 to their games! I guess IGN just didn't like it, They gave Kingdom Hearts 2 a 7.5 while everyone else gave it a 9.
