I'm with you on that one. It's about time though, people who have yet to buy a hi-def player were too confused as to which format to buy. That would have really caused a lot of damage for growth within the hi-def disc market itself. It's really going to be tough to beat DVD now. If anything can do it though...it's Blu-Ray.

Yeah, Burnout's tied up pretty well, it's doing really well considering it's just been released. I've yet to pick it up for the PS3 though.

I've never said nobody will buy it. Read my post again it's anecdotal experience. I also never said I know how big the content is going to be (btw adding 30 hours onto gameplay is considered big)
The thing i don't like is the fact that you guys are making it out to be the better version just because of 2 bits of extra content. Also...no one has said that DLC doesn't sell, it most definitely will but I highly doubt the content you guys will be getting will be as big as Shivering Isles is.
You guys are really milking this extra content sh!t. Who gives are crap?! It'll probably be a couple of extra missions. Half the time I don't even do missions in GTA, the only thing I'd bother downloading would be extra weapons and cars. PS3 is still going to get all the other DLC aswell (2 extra pieces of DLC is all you'll get) You guys will still have to pay for them...ooooh...fun.

I agree with most of that. Anecdotal experience tells me, that of the people I know, very few know about GTA4 on the 360 as opposed to the PS3. That's speaking from a European point of view but people tend to listen to the American media more-so, so it doesn't matter anyways.
The source doesn't seem very credible. It does pose an interesting debate but unfortunately it's major flamebait for fanboys here and full of ...well..quite frankly.... crap. Hopefully the version variations will be slight if there is any difference, which i doubt. Rockstar are still striving to get the two versions as close as possible right across the board.

I still think the PS3 is more future proof then the 360 - Seriously if they do make an xbox 3 what could they add other then a more powerful CPU or graphics engine, and what have we learned from the last gen consoles? GFX dont win wars. What happened to the original Xbox will happen to xbox 3, if they go and compete this early in its life. They'll just copy the PS3's features or Wii's. I've downloaded the patches and my PS3 works fine. It's rumble because after the update my copy of Heavenly Sword was rumbling, which it's never done before and it hasn't received any other updates so...
