True. But in my experience, most PC owners don't have that kind of setup because of the logistics of finding space for a big beige box close enough to their main AV systems. I have that problem myself.

Hunched over a keyboard and mouse squinting at a small monitor, no thanks. I prefer to kick back in front of my huge HDTV and 7.1 surround system.

Only an IP ban is going to stop this degenerate.

Can't believe this kid still has all his bubbles intact, he contributes absolutely nothing to this site, except giving PS3 fans a bad name.

What is it Waggle? no friends, bullied at school, not enough love from mummy perhaps, or maybe too much love from daddy!

My guess is that this kid doesn't even own a next-gen system. I bet the only experience this turd has with the PS3 is from standing in stores all day playing on demo pods while truanting from school.

I see where your coming from, but I think most 360 owners store their content on PC and stream it to the 360. Though it's possible to play directly from disk if necessary. Except for DivX content that is, which needs to be transcoded to WMV and is best done on the fly.

Meh, 5 is too easy.

1. More powerful hardware, obviously.

2. HD output. Yes I know that Xbox did 720p, but only a handfull of games used it, lame ones at that.

3. Much improved Live service with greater and better integrated community features.

4. Achievements and gamerscore. Yes PS3 fanboys may knock it, but I couldn't imagine an online network without now.

5. Greater variety of games, including more RPG and RTS games...

That scandal has seriously harmed China's reputation. I suppose every country has corrupt and unscrupulous individuals that couldn't care less about the lives they destroy in the pursuit of profit, but the Chinese certainly seem to have more than their fair share.

I guess compassion and respect are the first casualties of being raised in such a brutal regime. We're seeing a similar story here among certain immigrant communities, where murder rates have gone through the roof in ...

They need to fix the disconnect exploit on the 360 version before announcing an addon pack. Typical EA though, they'll probably try and squeeze us for more coin rather than putting right the existing problems.

"we are in trouble if a particular one people (chinese) become the strongest and richest". Well, America is in that position and has been since the fall of the British empire early last century. You can't deny that America uses it economic might to gain influence, and in some cases, an unfair advantage in trade. For example, a few years back, your government was worried about cheap steel imports from China harming your own steel industry who were unable to compete with the Chinese o...

The whole point of turn based games is that you can micro-manage every action, making the most of each and every action point. IMO that's ultimate control.

The Fallout and Jagged Alliance franchises are my favourite games of all time.

I was wondering the exact same thing.

It will be extra missions, but I guarantee it'll be more than just a couple. Other DLC such as new cars, weapons, outfits etc will be made available for both systems. I'm hoping they release updates for the radio stations, they're one of the major highlights of the game IMO.

If not for the great American dramas and sci-fi programmes i'd barely watch tv these days. All we seem to make are crappy reality tv programmes.

But I think a lot of people on this site are also interested in movies. Personally I don't see any harm in discussing these issues.

I would rather have a physical medium over digitally distributed content anyday. However, I think digital distribution is the way of the future, whether we like it or not.

Technically we're nearing the point where base level broadband connections are fast enough to stream full 1080p H.264 content. By my reckoning 10 - 20Mbps is sufficient for this purpose. Especially with the new upcoming H.265 standard set to cut bit-rates in half.

What really worries me though ...

As much as I love my 360 and the great lineup of games, I do believe MS has dropped the ball a little in recent months. MS got too confident because of Sony's struggles and clearly decided they can go toe-to-toe with Sony without making any concessions on pricing. MS should have knocked $100 off the 360 premium and abolished the core system several months ago if they were to maintain, and perhaps widen their lead. IMO Sony will now overtake MS early to mid 2008.

Changes nothin...

America is the world superpower. Unfortunately, hatred and envy (same thing IMO) just go with the role. A century ago it was the British. We introduced democracy, established modern economic practice and brought international trade and prosperity to many countries, and they still hate us for it.

Take Zimbabwe for example. Under British rule, Zimbabwe prospered and was widely heralded as the 'bread basket' of Africa, and a model for other countries in the region to aspire to. Wh...

Do you really think MS would pay $50 million for a couple of extra missions? Stop being suck a tool and use some common sense.
