The behaviour of these idiots is earning PS3 gamers a bad reputation. I already think of the PS3 as a kids console. If developers are reading the comments on this site, i'd be surprised if they're not already coming to the same conclusion. Expect lots of mindless button mashers and cartoon platformers, PS3 boys.
Don't them disagrees just make you feel proud to be a gamer!
There's clearly something wrong with the PS3 fanboys. I fear that Sony may be using some kind of subliminal messaging in their games that's turning them into zombies, or perhaps tainting the hardware with some brain eating virus.
If it wasn't so sad it would be funny. Scares me to think that 20 years from now, these same kids will inherit the earth and become the ruling generation. We're all doomed.
"but maybe with a bit more on PS3 from what I can see in the pics (i.e extra power lines and little bs)."
Please read the entire article before posting.
"The version of the level shown in the PS3 shot has been through one or two more detail passes than the one shown in the 360 shot."
So your saying that I should go out and blow £400 on a PS3, on the off chance that I might end up getting a few extra maps on the disc. Maps which i'll no doubt be able to download for free on xbox live anyway. Damn you must have money to burn if you think that's a good idea.
If there were no nerds you wouldn't be playing games, or typing crude, offensive messages on this site even.
Your the one who's dumb.
Everybody bangs on about the cells 6 SPE's, but what they don't consider is the fact that these SPE's are nothing more than vector SIMD units with ad hoc branch instructions thrown in for good measure. They're completely unusable for general purpose processing and suck at branch intensive code, like AI.
The Xenon, on the other hand, has 3 general purpose cores. Each core is not only optimized for branch intensive code, but also contains 2...
"considering your more dumber"
Talk about pot calling the kettle. Still, i'm sure your "bestest" fanboy friends will agree with you!
Seriously though, those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
We wouldn't expect a kid like you to appreciate the brilliance of Mass Effect. You should stick with your button mashers and cartoon platformers because Mass Effect is far too complex for the likes of you, and all those other pre pubescent juveniles that agree with your rants.
That game really kept you on your toes. I loved the fact that you couldn't just sit and cower behind a wall for too long, pondering what to do next. You had to keep moving forward and that made for one of the most adrenaline packed shooters ever IMO.
I just hope that Hell's Highway is a little more freeform than previous iterations. One of the things that bugged me about the previous games was the inability to vault over fences and create your own path towards an objective.
Lets test your knowledge of CPU architecture a little.
Answer these very basic questions in your own words. Be honest with yourself and don't use google. These questions require only a basic knowledge of computing principles, knowledge that most people will learn during the first few weeks of a computer science course.
1. Explain in basic terms what a register is and name the registers of a basic X86 or IA64 processor.
2. What is SIMD and under wha...
This game looks set to redefine the military RTS genre. I just hope they don't rush the 360 version for a simultaneous release alongside the PC version.
To anybody who hasn't already seen the PC footage of this game, you should check it out on GameTrailers. It looks awesome.
Doh, i'd forgot all about that. Was sure I heard about the guitars been wireless from somewhere though.
Sorry to burst your bubble but the PS3 controller also uses a battery, or did you think the power was transmitted wirelessly!
What happens when the lithium battery in your pad fails? You have to get it replaced that's what. I paid $7 for 2 sets of 2800mAH NiMh batteries for my 360 controllers, and they last around 30 hours per charge. And I too can plug my pad into the USB and have the batteries charge as I play.
Ignorant Fanboy
Check out the price of NiMH...
Explain the difference between RF technology and Bluetooth if you guys are so smart.
You can't? that's because they both use RF technology. The only difference is that bluetooth is an unlicensed radio technology, and as such, has to restrict bandwidth and output power to minimize risk of interference with other equipment. Remember bluetooth is used in offices and hospitals where sensitive equipment is vulnerable to strong shortwave signals.
These restrictions on ...
"microsoft didnt shipped that many 360s out there anyways"
Your inability to correctly structure and grammaticize a statement never fails to astound me. You should play less games and concentrate on getting a decent education instead.
Ever heard of sarcasm? He's just pointing out that anyone can start a rumour.
Now that's hardly surprising for Japan now is it.
Let's wait until we get sales figures in from the other territories, Japan is hardly a fair comparison. My guess is that the PS3 will still have a slight edge, but not nearly as much as in previous weeks.
That just proves what I always knew. The PS3 is targeted at kiddies and immature anorak wearing geeks.
Granted, there are idiots on both sides of the fence. From those images it was obvious to me that the PS3 version better. It was also obvious that there was some jiggery-pokey at play from whoever released such unfair comparison shots.
I think there's a lesson we should all learn from this. It seems that even individuals involved with the development of these games are not immune to fanboyism. Also, in any situation where you have two seperate teams involved with a project, the...
