Personally, I loved the entire intro except a few niggling things. The spaceships for once - they have an excellent design but when they blew up, it didnt look impressive at all. It looks like a canned explosion.
Another point is when Visari repeats himself and says; "Never again." Ach.. a low point in his speech. Otherwise a fine intro.
After I saw some of the gameplay footage. It absolutely looks amazing
Honest to God, this "article" is baffling. He wants HUDs on these trailers? Then they wouldnt be trailers would they? If they had HUDS, they'd be gameplay footage. Notice the difference?
A trailer is something that tries to artfully showcase a product - you can use CGI for that or you can use the in-game engine.
Showcasing a gameplay section isnt a trailer... its a *showcasing of a gameplay section*.
as evidenced by the game's frustrating final boss, who is neither slow nor tactical)"
Man, grow a pair of balls. Guys like this really annoy me. They pretend to be hardcore gamers but when a game is actually challenging, you shout out that it should be easy. Gimme a break here...*I* beat the final boss on Elite.
Theres nothing wrong with the controls, just something wrong with minds of people expecting a casual game.
Beat the entire game on Veteran and got all SP trophies. NOW I'm working on multi
You announced the game in 2006. This is 2009 now... WTF. AND its a DS game so you *know* graphics and audio arent a major challenge. Seriously, I'm really disappointed in SE with this
People are dying to play your games and all you're doing is playing hopscotch with Last Remnant Infinite Undiscovery.
when companies realize there is a world outside America and the UK. What the hell about the rest of Europe or Australia or even all of Asia? What, we dont like movies, is that it?
Birds can FLY, people !! I have analyzed this for a long time and I've to the conclusion that, yes, birds do indeed fly. They flap their wings.
Why, I do say, "How does this affect MY experience?"
All this nanny nanny boo boo whining... its just annoying. I'm no painter, so when I go look at the Mona Lisa, I see a beautiful painting. I dont care how Da Vinci cheated with the brushstrokes or not... MY experiences and MY emotions are the quality needed for ME to like the painting.
Same with this game. If I'm enjoying how the game looks, then I'm liking. Same with Gears, I know Epic used a lot of bac...
of the buns.
Seriously? I like ass as the next man here but this seems like .... yeah
This post that I am making is very viable and dynamic. It has transcendentally captured your eyes and because you are reading this post, you are. Simply, you are.
I have now made you read this. Depending on your reading speed, you have lost a few seconds of your life. If you're REALLY slow, a few minutes.
Man, I rock at this crazy PR talk - Microsoft should hire me to say something about nothing. Because I can obviously say a lot about nothing at all.
He didnt kneel in front of the Queen to be called mister, now did he?
and point out in caps: "I'm as straight as an arrow !! I luuurve girls !!"
And THEN, somebody else should report that person and we'll have a grand case of hemp fandango. Will Microsoft react in the same way they did to this specific case? The suspense, she is killing me. Anybody gonna try this?
Every director leaves after a God of War. Jaffe left after GoW1, Barlog after GoW2 and I'm willing to bet the new guy, Stig will leave after this game.
I guess the pressure of title is just too much.. we ARE talking God of War here
It was too easy. Not because of Elika save thing- I actually applaud that since it doesnt break the flow of the game. What I found too easy was that the entire game was basically a quicktime event.
Except while starting a jump, you can play the entire game *with one finger*.
Seriously, you can.
Not once do these commands intermingle, that is, not once are you required to press two buttons at the same time.
A lot of the stuff is just automated. Wall sliding is automat...
These games shouldnt be *remade*. The brawler genre needs fresh blood. New games that venture into new areas. I remember Fighting Force for the PS1. I remember The Bouncer for the PS2.
I think we need a new game that does something woefully cool
Obviously the PSP isnt doing as well as the DS - that doesnt mean its dead. The PSP is still selling truckloads (across the world) and it is a success since its making Sony money.
People seem to forget that Nintendo had a rockhard monopoly on handheld gaming for 15 years or so. The PSP doing so well against competition like that, well... I think its a success.
Ok, why the hell is Fallout 3 garnering 93 average on the 360 and 92 on the PS3 and the PC? I know its mighty trivial but fair oughtta be fair.
If the reviewers got genuine complaints on the Ps3 version, why the hell are they affecting PC as well? Everybody know FL3 absolutely kicks all collective ass on PC with user mods and the chance to kick it to proper hi-res.
I noticed the same thing with RB2 averaging one point higher on the 360... eyy... such is life.
Rosenberg is Ryans superior? Doesnt seem likely. Seems more like a scientist thats looked around at what Tenenbaum did with ADAM and is eager to tell Ryan about it so they can make some bucks out of it.
You have no intentions of becoming a multiplatform company. Just say it already. Dont lie to fans waiting for PS3 versions - just say you intend to make no games for the PS3 - that would be the decent thing to do.
At least then, people who still want to play your games will know what platform to go for.
