Sorry, I meant a eight track drive and specs to match the Wii U.
A Bluray drive and specs to compete with the PS4.
Yeah, because Blu rays don't look good enough as is, and so many games are already running at 60 fps while displaying 1080p already. (note sarcasm)
I say lets actually worry about running at those specs, before worrying about lowering frame rates trying to do 4k.
Making FPSs on consoles are really hit and miss, the way they feel has to be just right.
Some of the greatest PC FPSs play like crap on consoles, Dust kind of feels like a bad PC port, I think it could of done better on PC.
It has so much penitential, I haven't played it for a couple months, but it came off as really bland and boring for myself also.
The controller is one of the most important parts of a console, it's how you'll be interacting with it for the next 5-10 years.
It's actually the main reason I prefer one console over the other.
Not every game, and few have as many as the ARMA series.
Actually it rarely happens and most devices have a fail safe in case this happens.
Btw, that's the worst comparison ever.
Either way it should have a fail safe like any other device.
My first Wii U bricked on launch day because my power flickered.
Actually, considering I own 60+ Arcade games, backwards compatibility is pretty damn important to me this gen.
All those games will be useless without it, if can load them to a new console I may still play them, if I have to keep an obsolete one around to play them, I may not.
If Sony or MS release updated versions of any of my PSN or XBLA games for the new console, I better be getting to re-download them for free or at least at small charge like Nintendo has...
Will that prevent a brick, if your console loses connection to the internet while updating though?
Which will make for a interesting 19 days of MS has no games articles.
Here's to hoping my power doesn't flicker, breaking another one.
Ever since launch day, I'm terrified of Wii U updates!
Yeah, I got that impression from Major Nelsons post, right here.
"On that day, we’ll share our vision for Xbox, and give you a real taste of the future. Then, 19-days later at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, we’ll continue the conversation and showcase our full lineup of blockbuster games."
The thing is, I actually believe the cable box rumor, it would be a very smart move on Microsoft's part.
People already pay a little extra a month for modems and dvrs though cable company's. While gamers would just go out and buy one, your average consumer would be all over something like this. You could have your console, cable box, and dvr all in one, not having to worry about it breaking because it would be the cable company's responsibility to replace it. Also...
Xfinity
Xbox Infinity
hmm, I think I see a connection here, with all the cable box rumors.
The first Bioshock opening was better than Infinite.
Prey should also be on here, arguably the best opening ever, but the rest of the game was kind of meh.
I like the concept, though like most things on the Wii U its done poorly.
I can see Sony and MS taking these type of things to the next level.
You greatly underestimate MS marketing abilities, besides the 360 was announced a few weeks prior to E3 last time and did just fine.
MS will have the new Xbox plastered in front of everyone's face whether they like it or not. The 360 dashboard will be powerful enough marketing tool for anyone that uses Live.
Off topic: I want a new 4x4 evo, it was like GT and Forza, but with trucks.
