I love the God of War franchise and don't necessarily see them as "mindless button-mashers". The God of Wars have great production values and great stories, as well as great characters, so when I saw God of War at #10 I was about to call Bullsh*t on this list, but since Halo wasn't left out (and rightly so) I decided that maybe accusing the author of biasism may have been a little too drastic.

I loved the new feel of Killzone 2 so much that just recently when I went back online with COD4, COD4 felt like my character was just floating like a fairy all over the place. I still love COD4, but when compared to Killzone 2 visually, it almost looks like a cartoon.
When compared to the feel of Killzone 2, COD4 feels like a platforming game.
