The first Halo was certainly a turning point for First-Person Shooters back in 2001, but lately the Halo sequels (including Halo:ODST) have been nothing but corporate money cash-in properties who rely on the mindless committment of fanboys.
I do not think Bungie is as great of a FPS developer as many of the Xbox 360 fanboys think, though Bungie is certainly very capable of making such great FPS's.
