An HD remake of ICO and SotC with the Last Gaurdian demo (ie like GOW) would be a nice treat. The HD Remaking is a great way to get people to come back to the classics and to play updated games they might of missed. Plus the trophies are very welcomed. Still waiting for Kingdom Hearts and Metal Gear Collections.
I personally loved this game. It's an easy 9 in my book. I hope David Cage continues to make games like this. Maybe a science fiction this time. It can be real or fake in fantasy, hell I don't care. Loved Indigo Profecy, Loved Heavy Rain.
I see your point. But the maze of DC was still badass. I never felt disconnected from the world. Oblivion was too open and too repetative in nature. The DC section reminds me of Midgar in FFVII, before the game really opens up. And that is another reason I don't mind the metro
The subway system is what gave linear structure to the story before it dumped you unto the world to run free. But you can actually get to 90% of the city locals without the metro.

Red Dead Redemption brings the fun and variety that hasn't been seen since San Andreas. GTA4 went to dramatic that it lost the fun factor.

DLC is what makes games expensive. When content is cut and sold as DLC, it makes game any where from 65-150 bucks.
I think games today have plenty if content to justify 50-60 dollars.
But sports games & movie games really should be around $40 max.

I want the next one to be story driven and focus on new locations.
Other than the amazing set pieces, let's get some more "WOW!" moments. Maybe infiltrating as a helghan soldier, or more vehicle battles.
Keep MP as it is but add a little more, perks instead of class-equiped tools would be cool. Or just give the ability to be able to have turrets, drones, tactictian spawners, etc all at the same time.

Square stayed busy producing and developing sh1tty 360 RPGs. So they can go fvck themselves. FFXIII is what's keeping them above water

MGS 3: Snake Eater & GTA: San Andreas
This is what happens to Oddworld Inhabinants. They finally gave up and went to make a movie instead. Sad to say that was like 5 teed ago and still no movie.
Original 2 Oddworld's are my favorite games BTW
But devs ate tryin to tell story and cut scenes are more interactive today like HR or speaking and interupting in Mass Effect. People should stop complaining. If they want a game with no cuts ens or story they should just play Tetris and STFU
PS3 has set itself up for a long lifespan. It did have a little bit of a rough start, but it's exploded out now and is truly the best console on the market. Plus Sony has had great success with every risk they took. And I really think 3D will in the end, play into their favor again.
