just came out though. I am excited to play it
The MP had it's own story and devs so it wasn't too "in-the-way". Everytime I tried to play online, no one was there. Which is crappy cause about 20 or more of it's trophies/achievements are online. That's lame as hell. I think the shock value was not as strong in Bioshock 2, but either way it is a great game. The engine is getting a little old though. I didn't think it was as good looking as the first one, which is weird, cause you'd think the sequel would m...
Oh I thought you were going to say "How to put this weave?" LoL
I love the way this game looks and plays. I still have lots of worries and questions though.
The town show in the demo acts as the mission hub. Does that mean this is the only town? Is this like Borderlands with a large open world but a few towns and tons of outposts. Or is it like Fallout with a new adventure around every turn, where you can forget the main quest cause you're to b...
I would never spend $150 on a camera and then $60 on shovelware for an achievement, and to think any hardcore gamer would is just ridiculous. I also won't wave my hand around looking through Justin Bieber songs. What the hell is going on with Microsoft? Who the hell are they? They have no clue what the hardcore community is. They pay developers to make hardcore games, but it's clear they only look at charts and statistics when determining what they do and make. And now they are pushin...
Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword is a great looking and fluid game.
It'll win Best MP of 2011. I think inFamous 2 is aching for the spot, if Killzone 3 doesn't take it. But who knows what will happen before then.
We had Game Crazy's here. They started going out of business a month ago. Once the signs went up, people flocked there. Bought everything. It took almost 2 weeks before they even started 5%-10% off sales. I waited until the last days and they had nothing left worth buying and the biggest discount was 30%.
It's sad that people don't know how to shop. No one saved anything. So it was a bust.
I remember when Circuit City went under. Fallout 3 Collect...
He was 30 in the early eighties. You know he wasn't invented at age 1. So now he's probably 60.
Not just visually, but gameplay wise and technically as well. The chase had tons of camera effects and slow-motion executions. I wonder if the game will have some QTEs. The movement of Cole is much more dynamic, and traveling looks faster and more fluid.
Wonder if your save file could start you of in inFamous 2 with the good or evil Cole you ended with. Oh and listen up Sucker Punch, shard hunting better lead to a Silver Trophy at a minimum. Bronze was too light for the hour ...
Fix it yourself. I did. And get te data off there first
It looks ok. I am not flipping a lid over this. But the change of scenery is great. And a MP mode with dogfights in space would be awesome. These space fights don't feel epic though. They look like regular flying levels, but in space. Kind of a mini game between planets. Don't stealth troll me, I'm getting it. It's just not making me cancel any preorders for this.
I still think Oddworld Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus hold graphically and technically to today's standards. It's a game that only needs a slight polish to stand up with today. The graphics style of scenery of Trine and Shadow Complex are similiar to classic Oddworld. And of course the gameplay is just stellar, the story is amazing and the entire design behind it is ingenious.
What is that big bitch that chases you in Gears? When you're running away and you spin around only having seconds to roll out of the way before she crushes you. That's some scary shit.
Also the clown in heavy rain that gives Jason the balloon at the beginning. Thinking of it sends chills down my spine.
Lego Harry Potter is a very good game. The series continues to improve with each theme. Although I can't think for the life of me why or how they are going to do another star wars. I wonder what the next Lego game will be. Maybe Lord of the Rings or Back to the Future. They already said they won't do M-rated games or R rated IPs.
Lego should team up with Disney, I think an original IP would work.
Gaurdia Castle theme from Chrono Trigger still gives me chills
You get a bubble just for having a Zappa avatar
Arkham isn't a sandbox game. It's an exploration adventure similiar to bioshock and metroid prime. You can't roam everywhere until you unlock abilities. Sandbox games unlock areas in bulk, if they are ever locked at all. Infamous may be more explorational with it's sequel, having the ICE and whatever new powers may come.
GT5 and Reach. I predict 15mil combined before Jan 1st
Lego games are usually passed off as shovelware, but I find them interesting.
I am playing through Lego Harry Potter and have to say it's a blast. The immersive environments are billiant. The spells system is awesome. The way they open up the world throughout the game, it's almost sandbox in the hub. Lego games continue to improve. This one beTs all predecessors easily.
9/10
3D Dot Game Heroes is really good. There is a lot in the game. I thought it was going to be a nostalgic tribute to zelda, but it's a lot more. And although you can run through the story in a short time. There are so many damn hidden jokes, game references, and side quests to keep you busy for at least 25-30 hours.
