This site truly has a biased towards Sony. It's pathetic.
Last year's GOTYs included Zelda, Horizon Zero Dawn, Mario Odyssey, AC Origins, RE7, Nioh, Nier Automata, Hellblade, Uncharted Lost Legacy and Hollow Knight. Just because Fornite/PUBG got big, doesn't take away from a massively successful single player year.
Where the hell is Astrobot Rescue Mission?
Jared Petty did a similar episode of Hop, Blip, and a Jump on Mario vs Depression. The plumber seems to have a positive power on people. As much crap as video games get from media, politics and game blamers, there is something almost supernatural about the joy a game has on the mental, spiritual and physical human being. It's a true medium of healing.
Celeste was an outstanding puzzle platformer. It was the first die-rinse-repeat platformer that I have played since the original two Oddworld games and was blown away.
Astrobot Rescue Mission is the VR Mario Land we needed. That was such an experience that only PSVR could deliver.
2019 is looking to match 2018 at a minimum but we will see.
What?
The menu is crappy, it lacks border art, and the PAL thing sucks. The games are all good though. I think the biggest issue is the licensing problems. PS One has so many great games, shame they didn't put more into this.
Xbox needs to prove all their money thrown at midtier studios was worth it. I dont think we will see the results until next gen though.
I think Sony has laid out games and they all look great. Days Gone is the only one up in the air.
Nintendo has a lot to prove since they have some good IPs up to the plate.
Gamingbolt at it's finest /s
Amazing and challenging puzzle platformer.
Yes, it's like Uncharted and Zelda rolled up in a Studio Ghibli coating and action puzzle platformer whimsical wonder. Game is shorter, being around 4 hours but has good trophy/achievement replay and it's just so good. I have the platinum trophy for PS4 and it's a 9/10 easily.
Couple of these, I don't remember. No love for the 1/12 Soldier Replica?
3D Dot Game Heroes 2.
Yes I'm that guy
You have two amazing games that are perfect for VR newbies. You will be in love soon my friend.
I highly recommend this game. It wasn't too big but it's hub and spoke open-linear design with some of the best AI and graphics out of idTech did wonders. I really thought they did a stellar job with it overall and was kind of underrated in my opinion.
I have little faith this game will fix the mess of a story and not release with a slew of DLC behind it, but we will see. Kingdom Hearts was such a good series taken off the rails into a convoluted disaster. KH3 game play looks great and Winnie the Pooh is still here so that's promising.
Ni No Kuni is developed by Level-5, not Team 5.
We all knew Fallout 76 was going to be a disaster from the beginning, but was disappointing was how they handled the dumpster fire.
Against I mean. I goofed that one. LoL
