Indie games mean nothing when they can run on anything. Don't get me wrong, I love Spelunky, but it runs as well on a toaster as it does on my Vita.
Aside from that, what games does the Vita get? Games aimed at a niche and not much else. See Neptunia PP, Holy Sorcery Story, etc.
And paid $100 in the process just to get digital games at about the same price, generally.

Atlus always had more prescence on 3DS than Vita. Etrian Odyssey IV and SMTIV were both big titles for them. The Vita had...what? An enhanced port?
Want to know of great headphones for gaming? You can get a Sennheiser 558/598 for one third of what a headset costs. The Audio Technica AD700 are also a really good alternative, and they'll sound better than any headset ever will. The Beyerdynamic DT 770s also are great, albeit a tad more expensive.
Couple them with a ModMic ($10-$20) and you'll have better quality than any flashy overprice headset will ever give you.
Stop buying headsets, they're of lower quality and lower durability than a decent microphone coupled with an actually good pair of headphones.
