If I already have a 1080P HDTV, would you say that 3DTV is worth investing in? (Not just for KZ3, but in general)
The story was OKAY at least, and honestly EVERYTHING else is flawless. This is a beast of a Game... I could give less of a shit IF it had no story / cutscenes at all but it did and it was pretty good, people complaining are either British and offended by the HGH being British or do not understand the story anyway.
Yeah? Neither are the 3DTV sets that we consumers need to purchase to actually enjoy it in 3D.
Sorry but I have to say; the statement that Sony made about "The best way to enjoy the Game is to have a 3DTV and Move" made me almost NOT get KillZone 3 I was like "Oh so unless I spend nearly a thousand pounds on equipment, the Game will not be as good as it could be?".

If my opinion is that KZ3 has an average story, and 90% of all other Games got a pass on that dept, then it makes them have a better plot than KZ3... Pretty simple logic really duplissi.
Nah I would not say you need to play KZ2 to get into the KZ3 plot... And even then kz3 does a fairly good job of explaining what happened in KillZone 2 anyway.
Good cut-scenes does not mean good story. I mean sure it is cool seeing Sev ditch a jet pack in mid air just before it explodes, landing barely on a platform before being hit by a huge wave... But that is not story, the story is very weak...Not bad, just weak; I mean it is the literal definition of average
The story is not epic, just the OTT action scenes are. But anyway... Who really plays any FPS for the story these days? It only really ever serves as a reason to otherwise mindlessly shoot stuff (which is awesome fun in Killzone 3, I might add)

EDIT: Amazon are doing a 40" Samsung 3DTV for just £625 (not bad when it is like £800 - £1000 everywhere else)

I think a lot of people are forgetting that the PS3 was originally launched £500, so you are probably a degree of correct.
Okay it was £425 but you had to buy a Game... = £465... And the controller made it top in at £500.
So why people are expecting less than £350 is bewildering. I mean I hope it is less, just prolly will not be.
