So you think it's only n4g complaining? Go do some looking around on the internet and then get back to me. I have yet to find any poll numbers where Xbox one is not getting stomped by PS4. And if you think that people who do get on these social websites(facebook, youtube, n4g) won't go back and let their friends know about the Xbox one, you're greatly underestimating word of mouth. On top of that when you have the media like wsj basing Xbox one for privacy concerns, It's looki...
Keep in mind that no console in the history of gaming has got as much negative feedback as the Xbox one. It might start off with good sales like the WiiU, and months later fail to sell anything. Long term numbers in the future can be extremely bad according to popular opinion right now.
They're doing this because they're expecting a lot of angry customers to return their Xbox one. So they're trying to minimize the amount of returns from uninformed customers in advance.
Not really surprise at the online pass. Uncharted 3 had it, and really made me upset. I went to play multiplayer and It asked for a unlock code. I bought the new, but I was still upset that had to go in the case, put in the this code even though I had a brand new copy. I felt like it was unnecessary.
@ Snookies12, "Battle systems have nothing to do with a Final Fantasy"
You're so wrong. The engaging gameplay of the battle system is what helps set the tone of the game. The strategic battle system in the classic FF's were equally important as the story, characters and setting. So many rpgs never compared to FF because they were always lacking in one of these areas. FF was successful because it was a perfect mix of story telling, characters and most importa...
This is definitely one of my most wanted games.
This will probably cause some devs to skip Xbox one in the future.
Wow, really hope this is not true. It only gets worse for MS.
Like Moonman said below, Don't underestimate consumers or gamers, which MS clearly has.
Lmao, bubble.
@ LOGICWINS, You do realise that MS is a corporation, and Xbox is only a games division within that corporation. Let's also not forget that most in that corporation(MS) are against the games division to begin with. So your're telling me that MS's games division will go to the rest of the corporation and say, "Hey, look guys, we want to take a major loss on Xbox one simply because we can AFFORD to, and fall back on all this corporation profit we've just made, only so we do...
Xbox fail to outsale Playstation at a lower price with a year headstart. Will Xbox be as successful this gen releasing at the same time at a higher price point, remains to be seen.
No one is saying that it won't do fine, hell dreamcast did fine and gamecube. Will it be as successful as MS hopes? Not looking like it at the moment.
@ LOGICWINS, So MS would drop their price and take a significant loss only so they can go head to head against the PS4 which clearly has the upper hand right now? If anything that would only just expedite MS's decision to departure from the consoles business. I believe right now that PS4 could have a higher price and still greatly outsale Xbox one. It's not all about price like some you believe. Does price matter? of course it does, but a matching price point with the PS4(currently in...
or both
The division will be something special. It looks like the tactical gameplay I've been waiting for. If you haven't, please go check out some gameplay videos of the game. I can't wait for it.
Not really. The bullets impact in that game are the best I've ever seen on consoles. The gameplay looks very tactical like the old Socoms. I'm so hyped for it.
@ LOGICWINS, I don't get why everyone keeps bringing up PS3 launch even though it wasn't nearly as bad. If Sony did this with PS3 launch, I still wouldn't have one till this day. I won't be supporting Xbox in the future, because if they do change, It will be because they were forced to, not because they support gamers.
"You would think that, after all this backslash, they would try to win some people back and say "we are getting rid of the 24 online check" or something"
That would mean a massive delay(1-2 years). They fear Sony so much that they would rather crap on their entire fanbase just to avoid being left in the dust by Sony. I'm sure they're rethinking their policies for the future. I think at this point Xbox one is merely a test to see how much they can a...
@ mcstorm "nice to see someone thinking as a gamer and not a fan boy."
Has it ever crossed your mind that maybe people are "thinking" as a consumer with rights, "thinking" about privacy concerns and the future of gaming? No game is worth my freedom as a consumer to own something that I purchased with my hard earned money.
I know that all of you Xbox (I don't what you are this point) supporters wish to act like the flaws of X...
