Well no one can say that your guess is wrong. My guess is, PS4 will easily win and wipe the floor with competition, but again no one can say I'm wrong either. I just don't see any reason to get Xbox One over PS4 if you can only have one console next gen. Plus, I've seen firsthand what MS is really trying to accomplish. I won't blindly support a future I don't agree with.

For 400/500 I expect more gaming options on my console. That would include Indie games. Your comment would actually make sense if consoles were primarily indie. With PS4 and PC, you get all of those blockbuster AAA game plus more(indie games). So you're basically saying that you "don't spend 400/500 bucks" for more, which is stupid.
FPS are losing that wow factor. I mean what haven't we blown up, QTEd, Sniped, falling buildings, helicopters, run and gun or sneak stealth kills with a knife. FPS are becoming predictive and repetitive. FPS need more diversity, like add dinosaurs or some fictional for a change. Think of something original like turok. FPS don't have to be all explosive action packed with QTEs and soldiers.

Everyone was chasing COD and Wii casual numbers this gen. That's why we have so many fast-paced shooters and motion controls this gen. This was hands down the worst gen when It comes to originality and diversity. Everyone trying to capitalize on someones else ideal. This is not new or exclusive to this gen, but there were definitely more fails this gen than any other when devs attempted this. Copying ideals in the gaming industry usually lead to better games, but that wasn't the case ...
